Bauarbeiten am S-Bhf. Yorckstraße (Großgörschenstraße) - S1 - für den Austauschen der alten Brücken des Gleises Richtung Wannsee / Potsdam finden bereits seit vielen Monaten statt. Vor ein paar Monaten wurde endlich ein Baustellenschild aufgestellt und ein Ende der Bauarbeiten tatsächlich für den 20.12.2014 (!) angekündigt. Lassen wir uns überraschen mit wie viel Verspätung dieses Bauprojekt erledigt wird.
Nederland, Zuid-Holland, Gemeente Dirksland, 10-06-2015; Haringvliet met Haringvlietsluizen en Haringvlietdam. Zesde werk van de Deltawerken, verbindt met de N57 Voorne-Putten en Goeree-Overflakkee. In het kader van modern natuurbeheer ('getemd getij') gaan de sluizen tegenwoordig bij eb en vloed beperkt open om de getijden hun enigszins terug te laten komen in het estuarium.
Dam and sluices between islands Voorne-Putten en Goeree-Overflakkee. The sluices are for draining water coming from the rivers Rhine and Maas (Meuse) from the natural bassin to the North sea. Modern ecological insight has led to opening the sluices semi-permanently, resulting in the estuary function of the Haringvliet patially being restored.

We found out that operation belongs to giant project to improove Panamás infrastructure. The big stones need to be removed to avoid high tide water will endanger the bulidings close to the river during the rainy season. So it makes sence. And thank god, they stopped working at 5 in the afternoon...

There are two important crosses in the area and this is by far the older of the two. This cross dates from the 12th century and is also reputed to be dedicated to St Brigid.

The Metrolink works is having a big impact in Wythenshawe with roads dug up, junctions altered; Wythenshawe is hardly recognisable in places! In Hollyhedge rd the shops are still open for business.

The Indonesian Tsunami was tragic and devastating for the people of Indonesia. Hundreds of thousands of people were killed and millions were left homeless.
Minhaj Welfare Foundation (MWF) offered their services and facilities and helped with the construction of new buildings as well as providing water, food, clothes and shelter for those who lost everything.
Heavy machinery is used to lift the steel girders into place on top the concrete supports at Range Road on I-10.

The main reasons for my absence are:
Construction work is continuing at full speed. Today, cars from three different companies are parked on the side of our house, there is a construction company, an electricity company and a heating and water company. They are sawing, drilling and pounding all day long. On the other side of the house is a large truck and an excavator in the process of digging up a 3-4 m deep trench along the whole house. The last is the best - we are going to get super-fast internet access and lots of TV channels - Jubiiiii.
In order to perfect the whole thing has Psh Elements started to make fun, when I tried to fix it, it was totally messed up, now I can not edit the RAW format and the program still lacks a few files, not funny at all.
In addition, I stumbled a while ago and bumped my head into a concrete wall, it resulted in a concussion, annoying but not serious.
I hope you understand why I am leaving my home and don't comment on your photos as often as I use to.
