Im Bereich der Begehung wurde nach Fertigstellung des Rohbaus der Innenausbau mit Verschalungsarbeiten und Kompettierung der technischen Infrastruktur forciert.

The area around my apartment has been effectively a building site for three or four years and I am really pleased by the fact the majority of projects will be completed by the end of this year.
The major project with the biggest impact on my living environment is the Luas Cross City project but the good news for me is that the working date for opening the new route to passengers is December 9th/10th. Of course I do not know if the service it self will have unexpected negative social impacts but I am hoping that if there are any they will be more than compensated for by the positives. It would appear that property prices are increasing but as I do not wish to move this is not really relevant to me [except for an increase in property tax]
There will be two tram stops on O’Connell Street.
The GPO Stop will be located within the median of O’Connell Street Lower, north of Middle Abbey Street and will be conveniently located to provide interchange with the Luas Red Line at the Abbey Street stop. This is an important description because it contains a bit of information that might surprise some people. The common belief is that the purpose of the Cross-City was to connect the Red Line and the Green Line services but this is not actually true from a service point of view because users will need to interchange between the lines near the GPO

The Indonesian Tsunami was tragic and devastating for the people of Indonesia. Hundreds of thousands of people were killed and millions were left homeless.
Minhaj Welfare Foundation (MWF) offered their services and facilities and helped with the construction of new buildings as well as providing water, food, clothes and shelter for those who lost everything.

Nederland, Noord-Holland, Gemeente Schoorl, 11-12-2013; Camperduin, Hondsbossche en Pettemer Zeewering. Details van de bekleding van de dijk: steen en asfalt (bitumen) aan de zeezijde, het buitentalud, gras en klei voor de landzijde.

The dike was built as a seawall after the primal dunes were washed away.
Details of the lining of the dike: concrete and asphalt (bitumen) on the seaward side, the outer slope, grass and clay on the land side.

Bauarbeiten am S-Bhf. Yorckstraße (Großgörschenstraße) - S1 - für den Austauschen der alten Brücken des Gleises Richtung Wannsee / Potsdam finden bereits seit vielen Monaten statt. Vor ein paar Monaten wurde endlich ein Baustellenschild aufgestellt und ein Ende der Bauarbeiten tatsächlich für den 20.12.2014 (!) angekündigt. Lassen wir uns überraschen mit wie viel Verspätung dieses Bauprojekt erledigt wird.

Nederland, Zuid-Holland, Gemeente Dirksland, 10-06-2015; Haringvliet met Haringvlietsluizen en Haringvlietdam. Zesde werk van de Deltawerken, verbindt met de N57 Voorne-Putten en Goeree-Overflakkee. In het kader van modern natuurbeheer ('getemd getij') gaan de sluizen tegenwoordig bij eb en vloed beperkt open om de getijden hun enigszins terug te laten komen in het estuarium.
Dam and sluices between islands Voorne-Putten en Goeree-Overflakkee. The sluices are for draining water coming from the rivers Rhine and Maas (Meuse) from the natural bassin to the North sea. Modern ecological insight has led to opening the sluices semi-permanently, resulting in the estuary function of the Haringvliet patially being restored.

We found out that operation belongs to giant project to improove Panamás infrastructure. The big stones need to be removed to avoid high tide water will endanger the bulidings close to the river during the rainy season. So it makes sence. And thank god, they stopped working at 5 in the afternoon...

Herbert Collins house, Wide Lane, Southampton.
Herbert Collins was a British architect. He designed many of the surburban developments around Southampton in the 1920s and 1930s.
This three storey office building was last up for rent at £89k p.a. Formerly occupied by Southampton City Council and has been vacant since 2016, the site is now owned by Radian who plan to redevelop it into 18 new apartments.
