Herbert Collins house, Wide Lane, Southampton.
Herbert Collins was a British architect. He designed many of the surburban developments around Southampton in the 1920s and 1930s.
This three storey office building was last up for rent at £89k p.a. Formerly occupied by Southampton City Council and has been vacant since 2016, the site is now owned by Radian who plan to redevelop it into 18 new apartments.

There are two important crosses in the area and this is by far the older of the two. This cross dates from the 12th century and is also reputed to be dedicated to St Brigid.

Bauarbeiten am S-Bhf. Yorckstraße (Großgörschenstraße) - S1 - für den Austauschen der alten Brücken des Gleises Richtung Wannsee / Potsdam finden bereits seit vielen Monaten statt. Vor ein paar Monaten wurde endlich ein Baustellenschild aufgestellt und ein Ende der Bauarbeiten tatsächlich für den 20.12.2014 (!) angekündigt. Lassen wir uns überraschen mit wie viel Verspätung dieses Bauprojekt erledigt wird.

Aid Workers from Minhaj Welfare Foundation (MWF) team up with a charity in indonesia to help the victims of the earthquake. A joint partnership between the charity and MWF hopes to provide food, water and shelter to the affected people.

Minhaj Welfare Foundation (MWF) offered their services and facilities and helped with the construction of new buildings as well as providing water, food, clothes and shelter for those who lost everything.

The Metrolink works is having a big impact in Wythenshawe with roads dug up, junctions altered; Wythenshawe is hardly recognisable in places! In Hollyhedge rd the shops are still open for business.

De dijk is aangelegd als zeewering nadat de oorsrponkelijke duinen weggeslagen waren. Door erosie kalven de duinen langs de kust steeds verder af, de dijk steekt daardoor steeds meer uit in zee.
Hondsbossche and Pettemer seawall seen from the sea. The dike was built as a seawall after the primal dunes were washed away. Because of erosion the dunes decrease in size, therefore the sewall sticks more and more out into the sea.
