Now tell me again: Will somebody call the police when I ignore the tape in order to get into our house or will I have to go back to work and camp out there until the construction work is done (supposedly July 31, 2009, for this phase)?
This is one of my favourite Views in Berlin. The Bridge we see is the well known and very attraktiv OberbaumBridge, which konnekts the two most subkultural Distrikts of the german Kapital: Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain. The TelevisionTower at the far right surely needs no Deskription... The Bank of the River Spree has seen hugh Changes, since the Musikmediabranch (Mtv and Universal) moved over here one Year ago. (Eastharbour, at the right Side) And there are other Faktory and Offices in the Buildings there...

In India a lot of women are working on construction sides and also on roadworks. they carry stones, muds, cement etc on their head from place to place.
After the Elephant Parade in the local shopping centre, this is what the rest of the High Street looks like. Been like this for weeks. Who knows when it will be finished.

Inzwischen gibt es Veröffentlichungen, die als Endtermin für die Bauarbeiten das Frühjahr 2015 bzw. September 2015 nennen. Mal sehen was dann stimmt!
Three old houses still remain in this area of intense construction work and change.
The houses are to the left. I captured this constrast and a bit of the remaining garden.
Some other views of the houses can be seen in these images here. To the front, is the new construction and the green building in the background. I managed to follow up part of that work too (The green skyscraper replaced the offices where I once worked. I guess that was what got me into these Before and After series in the first place). Links and sets have to be completed still. But, for those of you who know the area this shows the present phase of this little niche. (There is still a lot of change going on in this area of Zurich West).

Workers pour concrete beneath the I-12 4-H Club Road overpass. This section of I-12 is being widened to six lanes, creating the need for a wider overpass. Concrete from the truck is poured into the large metal hopper, which is then hoisted to workers atop the overpass. From there it is deposited into the post forms via the orange tubes shown at the upper left.
