i've been pretty consistent in updating this site the last few weeks - however i've just come back from the pub with ten minutes to go and realised that i haven't posted a photo today. that's what i get for taking an afternoon nap i suppose. anyways here's a photo that i haven't got a great deal to talk about - which seems apt seeing as i haven't got much time to write anything. i took it outside a church in concepcion in paraguay. i had just arrived and it caught my eye whilst walking around looking for somewhere to eat. and that's all i've got to say - now time for bed.

The rain was pretty consistent but nothing too terrible. If anything, I kept worrying that water would get in the camera. Fortunately, it all worked out. Plus, it was good to be able to wear the rain coat because otherwise, it would have gone unused the entire trip.
The Hill of Tara is pretty amazing. Like I said, it was raining and with the green, the hills, the sheep, the view... the first thing I did was take in the view and think "This is Ireland... wow". Good times, good times.

Fenway Park is a ballpark located in Boston, Massachusetts, less than one mile from Kenmore Square. Since 1912, it has been the home field of Major League Baseball's (MLB) Boston Red Sox. This past week I started on the fall & winter alphabets. I'm holding off on the spring/summer alphabets until I get more feedback. Freshly plucked grass and flowers pose more of a time restriction and I want all the letters within each season to look consistent.

Unlike the letters I'm basing this project off, I didn't adhere to any strict outline or specific typeface. The forms are still based on a generic serif typeface, as I feel the delicate feel is appropriate, yet I didn't want to limit the organic materials by trying to force them into a pre-determined shape.
Also, saving for web/devices killed the color, but if you look at the blown up version you can see that the C and H in March contain hints of green foliage, as March is the transition between winter and spring. This will also occur in November (Fall to Winter) September (Summer to Fall) and June (Spring to Summer)
