ARTIST STATEMENT: The main idea of my series is to show the different emotions people have to music. My Idea was that everyone listens to music but we all have different reasons for doing so. No matter if were singing, playing, or listening to music, we all feel these feelings towards music, so I wanted to show these feelings through the photos.
Photo one, taken during American pie, uses music to portray emotions, for me of a sort of calming anger through classic rock. I feel like there’s a lot of emotion showing on him. He has a sort of wall built up but you can see through it and feel how deep down scared and worried he is about messing up, and ruining the song. Photo 2 shows emotion by adding the fact that she trying to hide face by having her hair flow in front of her face. Also how her eyes closed since you can express most expression through your eyes. She seems calm at ease, so when you’re listening you feel at ease to. Photo 3 is of a kid, listening to his music. He’s laughing and having a good time. Photo 4, is of a girl playing guitar outside, the atmosphere is good, the sky is clear and the photo just comes together. I like how she’s looking off deep in concentration with the music. Photo 5, gives off a weird vive because she almost has a sarcastic expression, as if the photo is supposed to be funny or angry. Over all photos 1-4 give off a calm sort of atmosphere and feelings in my opinion but the good thing about music is that it gives off different reactions and emotions to everyone. Photos 1 and 5 to me also give off an angry feeling.

As nomads, Saharawis were distinct from Berber Tuareg nomads to their east, as well as from black African farmers to the south, and semi-nomadic or sedentary Berbers to their immediate north. Saharawi society is highly stratified along tribal, caste and gender lines. Until the late 1950s most Saharawis were still nomadic. Their lives began to change rapidly when the territory's rich mineral resources became known to the West. The Western Sahara has rich iron ore and phosphate deposits onshore, as well as suspected offshore oil reserves.
My drawing of Mancha Type A Motor that was at the Chollar Mine Adit (Tourist) at Virginia City, Nevada until sold in 2009. The over-ride bumper was not applied to that particular Motor but the idea came from another photograph of an actual Mancha in service somewhere else. This will provide a better seat area for an additional person to ride safely.
The drive arrangement is my adaptation of an donor electric motor and chaindrive from a forklift.
If you would have told me 10 years ago as a 12 year old that my words and actions could effect others, I would have called you crazy. However, that was my dream.
I wanted to be the person who had a voice to say things for others. It's natural for human beings to be afraid to speak what they believe. Criticism is harsh to feel.
I've heard it all.
"You won't make it."
"You are taking a huge risk here... what if it doesn't work out? Then what are you going to do?"
"Really? Ha, just remember that I told you so when you fall right on your face."
I told you so would be the words I historically tell those people. Yet I chose not to say that to them.
I don't care about being in the spotlight. Yes I am wearing a brand new t-shirt straight from the package. It's wrinkled and you know what. I don't care if anyone judged me by a fabric of clothing. This is a representation to show everyone that you do not have to be perfect all the time to be right. Just be yourself and those who care about you will accept it.
All I care about is being positive and happy... hoping that others can find those emotions in their own lives.
Now I'm here. And whether I like it or not, there is a spotlight on me.
So my life, is now our life.

A model of EVA's Taipei International Flora Expo aircraft... except that this livery doesn't actually exist in real life, which then makes this whole thing sort of stupid. Come on, this event is supposedly (huge emphasis on supposedly) something that will bring great prestige (and tourists and money, etc) to Taiwan. After all, the Expo runs until April of 2011, so it's not like they're going through the effort to paint a plane for a week long event or something.
Shame they couldn't bring themselves to paint one of the planes like this model.
