My drawing of Mancha Type A Motor that was at the Chollar Mine Adit (Tourist) at Virginia City, Nevada until sold in 2009. The over-ride bumper was not applied to that particular Motor but the idea came from another photograph of an actual Mancha in service somewhere else. This will provide a better seat area for an additional person to ride safely.
The drive arrangement is my adaptation of an donor electric motor and chaindrive from a forklift.
I was sitting at my table wondering about things as I often do after the sunsets when I decided to play with a ceramic piece of art I own, a vintage basket and a simple light.
This was the result
A model of EVA's Taipei International Flora Expo aircraft... except that this livery doesn't actually exist in real life, which then makes this whole thing sort of stupid. Come on, this event is supposedly (huge emphasis on supposedly) something that will bring great prestige (and tourists and money, etc) to Taiwan. After all, the Expo runs until April of 2011, so it's not like they're going through the effort to paint a plane for a week long event or something.
Shame they couldn't bring themselves to paint one of the planes like this model.
'So I play my game, my desperate pretending game,
with a facade of assurance without
and a trembling child within.
So begins the glittering but empty parade of masks,
and my life becomes a front.
I idly chatter to you in the suave tones of surface talk.
I tell you everything that's really nothing,
and nothing of what's everything,
of what's crying within me.
So when I'm going through my routine
do not be fooled by what I'm saying.
Please listen carefully and try to hear what I'm not saying,
what I'd like to be able to say,
what for survival I need to say,
but what I can't say.

Who am I, you may wonder?
I am someone you know very well.
For I am every man you meet
and I am every woman you meet'.
(Charles C. Finn, 1966)
The nature of man comes into existence with birth, whereas the feelings are produced when there is contact with external things. There are three grades of human nature.
The three grades of nature are: superior, the medium, and the inferior. The superior is good, and good only. The medium may be led to be either superior or inferior. The inferior is evil, and evil only.
In discussing human nature, Mencius said, "Man's nature is good." Hsun Tzu said, "Man's nature is evil." And Yang Hsiung said, "Man's nature is a mixture of good and evil."
Now to say that nature is good at first but subsequently becomes evil, or bad at first and subsequently becomes good, or mixed at first and is now either good or evil, is to mention only the medium grade and leave the superior and inferior grades out of account and to take care of one case but to lose sight of the other two.

Great Dream | Conceptual
"While people dream, they usually do not realize they are dreaming...One night, Zhuangzi dreamed that he was a carefree butterfly, flying happily. After he woke up, he wondered how he could determine whether he was Zhuangzi who had just finished dreaming he was a butterfly, or a butterfly who had just started dreaming he was Zhuangzi. This was a metaphor for what he referred to as a "great dream"."
