It's grainy and it bugs me.

The idea of my photo series is to show how when you are a swimmer, the sport is always on your mind. Swimming is a very stressful and time consuming sport, it can often seem like even when you are not in the water, you are still thinking about it. Often even after practice it is hard to stop thinking about the next competition or practice or workout, as is the case with many sports. So I wanted my series to be able to show how the stress of swimming affects me and many other

The photos I took show my concept, which is that swimming is always on your mind, I photographed it by taking humorous pictures of a swimmer doing everyday things, but with a swim suit, cap, and goggles on. These pictures show people metaphorically how even when swimmers are not in the pool, that swimming is still on their mind and that they are still thinking about swimming. An example is that in one of my photos it shows the swimmer doing homework, but she has all of her swimming equipment on too, which shows that even when she is doing homework, she is not completely focused on it, and that she is constantly focused on swimming. All of the photos in my series show the different parts of people's everyday life, but how when a person is a swimmer, or an athlete in general, their sport is still being thought about. I used eating, driving, sleeping, and cleaning, as examples that also show how the idea of a person doing everyday things just in a swimsuit.athletes.

this is a conceptual photo about human rights!

each human being has equal rights with any other...All people have the right to speak and demand their freedom,as long as they dont hurt anyone other!

The reason that in this photo there are only the eyes unveiled,is because i want to show that we dont only have to see what's happening and never talk...That's why we have a mouth...To talk,to say what we want,to say what bothers us,to express ourselves in a way,to communicate,to ask help...

We must let other people speak,as long as speak!

Respect the human rights, dont trespass them!

We have to use our rights as best as we can and noone has the right to stop us...

It was absolutely beautiful out today.

Spring is here.

I biked down to the pines, today. I've never actually shot in there. I really like it.

Though, it is hard to get the focus perfectly sharp for self-jumping-portraits with an aperture of f/1.8.

I was glad I chose to bring my ukulele along with me. It was pretty peaceful walking around in there singing and playing. Although a house nearby the road was under roof construction- kind of loud.

Heh, anyway.

I had a pretty darn good day.

Getting this picture was dangerous, painful, and slightly illegal. Many thanks to my friend Lynn for the capture. I'll always have the terrifying memories. And the 5 minute moment when I thought I would break my ankles.

What is above the surface often has nothing to do with what is underneath :)

A whole secret beautiful world can be hidden in there...

But do we bother look for it... or are we always in too much of a hurry?

I believe every person carries a beautiful world underneath the surface,

a place full of magical dreams and sincere love.

But as it's so innocent and pure in there it is as well very fragile.

And considering it's a tough world out there, no wonder we are different on the surface.

What we show on the surface is most of the cases just what is safe for us,

just what keeps our innocent inside world unharmed.

Once I realized that, my way of seeing others underwent a great metamorphosis.

Once I realized that, I learned to open my heart and soul to others... it's an amazing feeling :)

Nowadays I look for the purely beautiful underneath the surface of each and everyone of us ;)

I advise you to try it too.

It's worth the efford, I guarantee ;)

Trying something different here to get out of the safety zone.

Lately I've been photographing a lot of people, and one day I went out and tried to make 'interesting' images in my own town/city. I shot what I thought was an interesting image because of the perspective, lines or 'hidden' message.

In the postprocessing I went 180° too.

Let me know your idea's, feelings and comments on these images. I would be interested to learn from it.

Sheikh Hasina Hall, JU

I have been so snowed under with work that I have not had time to take many photos -having said that, I had a great session last weekend and I love this portrait :D

Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

All these years you've been working hard, pursuing your goal. But then you stop for a moment. Suddenly, you realise that you don't remember what it is you are after. Where you are going.

I have used way more time on this 365 project than I imagined and I feel bad. So I am trying my best to weigh up for it. Lately I have been posting 2 pictures a day. I will keep throwing my work out there as soon as something is done instead of holding on to it. If you bend your screen up you will see that there is more to this picture than you see on the first glance.
