Homemade This was made in bucket half filled with water the rest filed with compost. It will sit for 10 to 14 days then I will strain the mix for varoius other recipes as well. When mixed with molassas and orange tea it make a excellent fire ant drench, which wipes out entire mounds of the liitle boogers it cost an lot less than the expensive chemicals you buy
Snapped this picture for a friend. The more mainstream food composting gets, the better off we'll all be. It makes great compost, it reduces waste going into landfills, you have to empty the trash less often...

Was putting the compost out this morning when I happened to spot this tiny, lone poppy sprouting amidst the scrubby wasteland of weeds that makes up the back garden.
It was lucky that I went back inside immediately and got the camera and snapped a few photos, as when I went out a few hours later, the crazy gale that's been blowing all day had wrenched its four paper-thin petals off and scattered them in the surrounding grass.
