Part of an exercise in thinking compositionally--as per the suggestion here--whereby I snapped random shots of stuff I happened to look at on a walk, without thinking about composing shots; then I picked out my favorites and tried to articulate why I found them interesting (ignoring subject matter as a factor).
Evaluation: This actually was not one of my favorites, compositionally. The depth of field is WAY too shallow. The good part is that the diagonals lead the eye back and forth, while the focus point keeps the eye from leaving the frame. The green half and gray half are worth mentioning, but I don't think I particularly like them. I just put this shot here because the wall was an interesting subject, honestly.
