I love trying compositing, but it takes sooooooooo long - makes me love autostitch even more. But the compare and contrast elements are always good - and it makes me learn more about how to take pics better to autostitch with them. For example, I was making a real effort to hold the camera at the same level, assuming it would make for shots that would be more easily stitched - without realising the alley is on a slope....
Any suggestions for how to improve very welcome
(oh, I should say, this is the secret flickrwall in Newcastle - we *definitely* need one in Bristol... Big thanks to brendadada for showing me!)

2nd Quarter-
27 separate images of one horse Photoshopped together to make two larger images of two views of the horse. I chose to make my composite of a horse because I am around them so much and enjoy using them as my subjects. I zoomed in on the various parts of the horse and put them together even though sections of it were not photographed. It makes for an interesting overall composition that shows how for once I was moving rather than the horse.
This is a bellows unit for my T2i and photos composited to explain the system and how well it works.
A bellows turns a normal, and in this case average quality kit lens into a pretty impressive macro lens.
The upper right is a lens hood (for size comparison) My subject, and the Bellow in it's collapsed state. If I was thinking I should have expanded it.
The center right is as close as I could get with my 18-55mm kit lens and stay in focus.
The lower right photo is with the same kit lens attached with the bellows completely compressed.
The background image is using the same 18-55mm kit lens with the bellows at maximum extension.
The background photo was reduced to 25% for uploading, but it is NOT CROPPED. This is the full frame!

We use a wide variety of end terminations and provide a large proportion of these products for use in primary and secondary aircraft actuation systems. These interfaces, through continual improvement, have crossed over into the rail and motorsport industries.
My first attempt at a composite image. The picture of the beach was taken whilst out walking the dog. Then, I took a picture of my daughter in the studio and produced a composite in Photoshop.
Studio lighting consisted of a 3 foot Octodome as key (above camera) and a beauty dish rear left (high up).

There are 10 people in the swap. Each person makes a zentangle string and then cuts it in either 9 or 10 pieces (depending on whether they want to do a piece of their own). They then mail all the pieces out to their partners (one piece to each partner). The partners complete the pieces and send them back to the owner (the person who drew the string). When all the pieces are received they will be put back together in one large COMPOSITE zentangle!
A composite image of 50 different photos tagged with "fireworks." (I was going to ask people to guess, but I thought that it was pretty obvious.) Yes, the concept was "borrowed" from someone else on flickr, but the execution and choice of "fireworks" as a subject were all mine. I'm considering blowing this up to 30x30 and hanging it in my living room. I realize that this is more of a PS exercise than a photography one, but I'd really appreciate y'alls comments. Best viewed large.

My attempt to photograph a small spur of stellar light protruding from the milky way. Even 10 miles outside of Bakersfield the sky is badly light polluted.
Captured on my Canon 20d f/1.8 50mm prime lens with a composite of a dozen or so images.
I tired to keep the individual images short to keep the stars from streaking, 4 seconds or so was about as long as I could go. Which caused me to have to use iso 1600 or 3200... even at F/1.8. Causing lots of noise. Uses multiple imagines did help cut the noise down however.
There is a reason specialized equipment is used for this sort of thing. But at least I tried.
Baby's first composite. I'm not completely happy with it. But a tripod is probably a good investment...

The last room was quite personal and various people suggested that perhaps I should, as I normally would, simply choose a theme for the room and redo it again. Blue is a colour that I like and which, for no particular reason, I tend not to use to any great extent so I thought I would create a blue room and see if my use of patterns found more favour.
The wallpaper and the sofa fabric are both Belle Epoque 2 patterns and, whilst the sofa fabric is designed to be very regular, the wallpaper was created with a slight jink in the pattern which takes the eye and relieves the monotony. Both the curtains and the carpet are variations of old patterns that I have done before and serve to provide pleasing decorative features to the room.
