Castellet i La Gornal, Alt Penedés, Barcelona (Spain).
Castellet i La Gornal is located in the reservoir of river Foix, between the regions of Garraf, Baix Penedés and Alt Penedés.
It stands out by its castle of century X, also called of Sant Esteve. It was a fortress that defined the limit between Marca Hispánica (christians) with Al-Andalus (muslims). In century XVI it was destroyed, and it was reconstructed in 1925 for particular use by Mr. Peray. At the moment it belongs to the Fundació Castellet del Foix that has carried out the restoration until the present state.

In the animal kingdom, inferiority complex is rampant esp in human, the highest animal, which, this trait, is a negative and very dangerous attitude/syndrome to one's self, by the way. Does this little one feel that way or the other way around? :)
The Forbidden City is a palace complex in central Beijing, China. It houses the Palace Museum, and was the former Chinese imperial palace and state residence of the Emperor of China from the Ming dynasty (since the Yongle Emperor) to the end of the Qing dynasty, between 1420 and 1924. The Forbidden City served as the home of Chinese emperors and their households and was the ceremonial and political center of the Chinese government for almost 500 years.
Constructed from 1406 to 1420, the complex consists of 980 buildings and covers 72 hectares (over 180 acres). The palace exemplifies traditional Chinese palatial architecture, and has influenced cultural and architectural developments in East Asia and elsewhere. The Forbidden City was declared a World Heritage Site in 1987, and is listed by UNESCO as the largest collection of preserved ancient wooden structures in the world.
Since 1925, the Forbidden City has been under the charge of the Palace Museum, whose extensive collection of artwork and artifacts were built upon the imperial collections of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Part of the museum's former collection is now in the National Palace Museum in Taipei. Both museums descend from the same institution, but were split after the Chinese Civil War. Since 2012, the Forbidden City has seen an average of 14 million visitors annually, and received more than 19 million visitors in 2019

Intricate stone carvings on the cloister columns at Quwwat ul-Islam Mosque, Qutb complex, Delhi – Resembles Hindu Temple Pillars – Pillars taken from Hindu temples.
The Qutb complex refers to an array of monuments and buildings at Mehrauli in Delhi, India, the Qutub Minar standing out as the most famous. Qutb-ud-din Aybak, the first ruler of the Slave Dynasty, and his successor Iltutmish (aka Altmash) first constructed the complex in their new city, called the Qila-Rai-Pithora, near Prithivraj Chauhan's older city. Many subsequent rulers, including Iltutmish and Ala ud din Khilji as well as the British added to the complex.
In addition to the most famous monument in the complex, Qutub Minar, other important buildings and structures stand in the complex, including the Quwwat-ul-Islam mosque, the Ala-I-Darwaza, the Alai Minar, and the Iron Pillar. Twenty-seven previous Jain temples had been destroyed and their materials reused to construct the minar and other monuments of the complex. That resulted in the creation of a unique, Indo-Muslim architecture, blending the gods of Jainism and Hinduism with the symbols and architectural designs of Islam.
That the ganesh temple was actually in the middle of these peoples house/courtyard. The children were many. Maybe 23 or so, all smiling, and wearing brightly coored clothes studded with mirrors, (actually just the girls, but most were girls) They LOVED to play with us, and quickly dressed Julie up in the local garb. Eventually it was communicated that we don't need anything but a floor to sleep on, and we were generously welcomed in. (though our american concept of what is generous is quite twisted, we are coming to realize)

This photograph is showing Warrington Bank Quay Railway Station with the backdrop of the Crown Paints complex which is one of the major manufacturers of paint in Great Britain. I like this picture as it is a good example of how industry used to pollute our atmosphere. unfortunately some companies still think it is acceptable.

The Glenn Dale Tuberculosis Hospital and Sanatorium was constructed specifically to house and treat children and adults suffering from tuberculosis. The campus demonstrates the struggle of the District of Columbia to combat the public health treat caused by tuberculosis during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Glenn Dale was owned and operated by the District, and is located only 15 miles outside the city, providing the remote setting and abundant fresh air that were considered ideal in the treatment of the disease, as the continued inclusion of the stricken in the District’s general population without adequate care was viewed as a serious public health threat. Glenn Dale provided free medical care to its patients.
There are seventeen buildings on the campus dating from 1933 – 1959 which contribute to the significance of the complex. The campus included interrelated medical, residential and mechanical buildings and landscaped areas, the majority of which remain intact with a high level of historical integrity. The classical detailing of the buildings and the interconnected series of pedestrian and vehicular circulation paths all contribute to its historical and architectural significance as a distinguishable, unified, representative example of a twentieth-century therapeutic campus.
