Taken in Glencoe, Scotland. Three climbers about to take the path up into the three sisters mountain range.
The highest mountain in the old county of Argyll, Bidean nam Bian is the whole majestic range of mountains on the south side of Glen Coe. It's dramatic northern ridges are known as the Three Sisters, whilst the highest summits of the group are hidden away behind.
TERRAIN
Steep, rocky and complex terrain. There are well-worn paths for much of the route (indistinct for route up Stob Coire nan Lochan) but the terrain is very rocky and there are sections of steep scree and very mild scrambling. The descent from Bealach Dearg is initially very steep and loose. It usually holds snow until well into summer, making it even more difficult - be prepared for this or save this route for when the snow is gone

In the center of a Dogwood blossom you'll find the most incredible sphere. The true flowers are tightly clustered there, surrounded by white petal-like bracts. A bract is a modified or specialized leaf which can serve the function of attracting pollinators. Nature is full of lovely surprises.
Possibly the last of this little series of blossoming blackthorn at Wittenham Clumps. The branches of these trees always fascinate with their complexity, a feast for the eyes to wander. Couple that with a glorious display of white flower and the seem now to be dancing.
If you ever have a chance to tour a large refinery... do it! The behemoth scale of everything dwarfs humans, yet it all came out of our little inventive minds! It’s an experience never forgotten.

The Ivan the Great Bell Tower is a church tower inside the Moscow Kremlin complex. With a total height of 81 metres (266 ft), it is the tallest tower and structure of Kremlin. It was built in 1508 on Cathedral Square for the three Russian Orthodox cathedrals, namely the Assumption, the Archangel and the Annunciation, which do not have their own belfries.
Glockenturm Iwan der Große
Der Glockenturm Iwan der Große in Moskau ist mit seiner Höhe von 81 Metern das höchste Gebäude des Moskauer Kremls. Er wurde zwischen 1505 und 1508 für die in unmittelbarer Nähe stehenden Erzengel-Michael-Kathedrale, Mariä-Entschlafens-Kathedrale und Mariä-Verkündigungs-Kathedrale gebaut, die keine eigenen Glockenstühle haben.
Looking closely at a dragonfly, their structure is quite amazing. Quite delicate, yet, superbly functional.
Somewhere in the Zion Wilderness is a usually dry waterfall that exposes some complex geology. There is no water falling, but some intricate icicles have formed from seeps.
While touring the Kenai Fjords, the boat operator put us up close to some shear cliffs that had waterfalls on them. This looked to be a fan waterfall but with some interesting interactions with the underlying cliff causing the water to radiate and spray in a specific pattern.

The Royal Palace (Khmer: ព្រះបរមរាជាវាំងនៃព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា, Preah Barum Reachea Veang Nei Preah Reacheanachak Kampuchea), in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, is a complex of buildings which serves as the royal residence of the king of Cambodia. Its full name in the Khmer language is Preah Barum Reachea Veang Chaktomuk Serei Mongkol (Khmer: ព្រះបរមរាជវាំងចតុមុខសិរីមង្គល).
The Kings of Cambodia have occupied it since it was built in 1860s, with a period of absence when the country came into turmoil during and after the reign of the Khmer Rouge.
The palace was constructed after King Norodom relocated the royal capital from Oudong to Phnom Penh in the mid-19th century. It was built atop an old citadel called Banteay Kev. It faces towards the East and is situated at the Western bank of the cross division of the Tonle Sap River and the Mekong River called Chaktomuk (an allusion to Brahma).
