Just a shot of the two together for comparison. I really wish 1x1 tiles came in dark tan, I could have made the first floor facade a bit more accurate. Also, telescopes in white would have been perfect for the belfry.

Altdoll May head on Dollpamm body.

This is actually a very good combo. I am surprised it looks so good! The only problem would be skin tone matching. Altdoll NS is identical to Fairyland NS, but Dollpamm NS is very very pale. My body is blushed.

Nat asked me about Canary's torso compared to a playline torso, so I did a quick comparison pic.

Canary's bust is slightly bigger than the playlines/ Model Muse dolls, so that can share bottoms, but when it comes to tops, the velcro may not fully fasten. It's even one of the reasons the doll was so controversial.

P.S., the other doll is High School Musical School Spirit Sharpay on a Fashion Fever Articulates body.

I was just gifted this awesome 1980’s era manual focus lens and must post test shots. Vignetting added in photoshop. Full res for the pixel-peepers.

The old little Tammie 17mm hits its resolution wall here when used with the Canon 5D Mark II (21 megapixel sensor). The DxO "perceived megapixel" score for the lens is around 10 "perceptual" mp, whereas the 5DII sensor tests with DxO at 14 mp. Now, why would a nominal 21 mp sensor yield only 14 "perceptual megapixels?" According to DxO, it's because with the standard Bayer sensor array design, a third of those pixels are "fake"—extrapolated/created by the camera software. BTW, this 15mp file is at full 21-mp res—I just cropped out a bunch of crap on the left and right sides.

4- negative scan of a negative stand developed in Rodinal.

Aviphot @ 200.

My monobath negatives at the moment are dense and also fogged, they do not clear very well, but I like the look of them and this negative looked very beautiful and rich in tonality, Very little of that came back in the scan. So I did some different things for comparison and tried to put them together in a comparable way.

I like the look of nr 2 , but I think the contactprint does the most right to the negative.

nr 4 is slightly different of course but the negatives this way clear nicely. This is a particularly thin one but scans good, different character. I did not get a decent contactprint of it, probably due to my limited darkroom skills.

This picture was kind of inevitable. After the first render of the CF-18 and Ralph's line-overlay, I went ahead and did a quick stud-count of the length and while proportionally correct, the C-Hornet was too large for the 1/38 scale I built it at. I've fixed that since, but while that original airframe was too large for the first Hornet, guess which size it fit almost perfectly...

Someone asked for a comparison to Dollzone White. My DZ boys are both pretty old but it still works

I know Resinsoul and Bobobie are the same company, but it was more to show how the WS matures - the RS is from July 2011 while the Bobobie is at least 2 years older.

I do like this dress it felt great walking around in the sunshine before heading to a friends for dinner.

here is a comparison of head sizes for Lostfromreality :D I decided to compare her with a Fashionista sassy wave 2 doll :3 as you can see the GG fairy has a MUCH smaller head :P oh fuck. I just realised you wanted me to compare her with another gg doll >__<

This features my version of the Veyman Genesis by Dark Syntax. Instead of posting just the build this time around, I figured I'd show how it compares to my usual measuring sticks. As is my normal, I made a couple of changes to the original build to reflect my design choices and parts availability.

In this case, which style do you like more? ^^

A size comparison. Compared with my other creation, temporarily named "Ana". I did polish her up as well, taking from the advice from L.A. Miranda, 0nuku, and Coconut fella into consideration. (Thanks.)

Sadol Love60 and ClassyDoll 60 with Iplehouse YID Bianca Head.

Iplehouse normal skin is a fairly good match for Sadol. Classydol, as well as April Story is more yelow, but in pictures is not noticeable...

Bianca in the Classydoll body measures exactly 60 cm

I took one photo on the 10th of March and one two days ago, the 14th of April. Illumination decreased over 10%.

*Disclaimer: I'm horrible at measuring so all measurements are close approximations.

I've been playing with Barbie dolls for 26 years, so I've had pretty much every body Mattel has released from 1993 onward. Over the years I have noticed slight variations in the dolls' heights, so I decided to do some measuring over the weekend.

These comparisons are based off the dolls I currently have. So I was not able to measure the flat footed articulated TNT dolls, the shorter Fashion Fever dolls, or any other IT female dolls other than DG.

FYI As far as I can tell, all dolls that use the standard Belly Button body are the same height, including articulated Fashionistas.

That comparison starts with big endless ocean. Then comes the ship. Lastly, two small boats follow the ship.
