Makaio and a young boy with his mother. This was taken after "One Ocean" at Seaworld Orlando,May 2011.Please don't steal my photos.
This is a comparison picture of two sard heads.
The one to the left is midsummer nights dream that was released in 2017, and the one to the right is Sard special order grey velvet human version who was released in 2010.
I will let the photos speak for themself, but as you can see the 2017 version seem somewhat a bitt smaller. It has been a known thing that Soom seem to be doing smaller changes to their sculpts for the different releases, and it seems to me that it is the same for this one. Both heads are pretty though.
I no longer own the 2017 sard version.
I couldn't assemble my good old 6927 (it donated some parts to the big brother), so just added a simple drawing to compare the sizes.
A comparison shot of the two-legged female (and one male) MSD bodies I have.
Left to Right: Doll Chateau, Dollmore, Dreamingdoll, Iplehouse, Doll Leaves, Volks
Here is another comparison between the Man Of Steel and General Zod bodies from Hot Toys! Sam and Jake are on Zod bodies while Henry, of course, is on the Man Of Steel body!
The guys are all wearing underwear from Hegemony 77!

This is the serenade doll rabbit head on the DC 002 kid body which belongs to my Colin. Oddly, I totally approve of this potential hybrid. It works really well and is oddly proportionate despite the size difference. Plus the rabbit really makes a good boy
From left to right : Angelika Balan porcelain doll, porcelain Enchanted Doll, Asian sculpt resin Enchanted Doll, European sculpt resin Enchanted Doll and Disneystore Frozen Anna doll,
Blonde has been dried for one day only. I expect it to eventually shrink further to the size of the brunette.
And here are some comparisons to Live Action Christie since I find her to be interesting as the only Midge sculpt in dark vinyl.
Also I keep reading how everyone thinks ALL vintage Christie dolls used a recoloured Midge head, when Midge has a much bigger mouth in comparison to Julia/Christie as well as a different jawline. Comparing them side by side I can see how they modified the Midge sculpt to turn into Christie (the nose and eye sculpts give it away) but I think it’s different enough to not call it a direct Midge recolour.

Resin comparison between Monodee, Dollgru, Switch, and MSdoll. All from 2014 except MSdoll (2015). Very close resin colors, great for people trying to find body for companies that only sell heads like Monodee, Dollgru, and MSdoll.
No yellowing.
Crouch... kinda.
Narae: Well, fail, but it looks very natural.
Withdoll: No.
MNF: STIFF! (Or "I'm going to poop")
DOC: Win. Very nice and compact.
I'm kind of partial to the Narae pose although she can't bend very low (her ankle limitations make her fall if she does).
Comparison between Laowa 12mm F/2.8 and Sigma 12-24mm F/4.5-5.6 version 1. Same camera and raw settings used for both images.
Sample taken close to the right of the image.
More detailed review and video coming soon.
from left:
Minifee Moeline, Souldoll NL, Doll Leaves new 1/4 Body, Resinsoul Rong and Fairyline Body
all can stand very easy on their bare foot.
Before and after shot of the big chop...I hate to lose the length, but my hair just doesn't like being past tailbone...it rebels and turns witchy.
This is a comparison pictorial review of two great custom Tumblers that actually come with instructions.
On the left we have the Tumbler made by a guy that I think goes under the name 'velociraptor' on Brickshelf. A link to his instructions can be found here: www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=503148
On the right we have a Tumbler made by Korean lego builder Stick Kim. I cant seem to find the instructions anywhere, but you can probably Google it. His MOC-pages presentation can be found here: www.mocpages.com/moc.php/371096
Both builders have many other awesome creations that are definitely worth your time checking out.
I really like these two iterations. Each of them focuses on different details of the Tumbler. The Stick Kim Tumbler is the sturdier of the two. and have in my opinion the better overall shape.
On the other side, the 'velociraptor'-Tumbler comes with more acurate details, such as the plating on the front, the headlights and so on
Which one do you like better?
For the comparison: This cantina is based on the floor plan show in 'Star Wars Complete locations'. I also build an other one based on the technical magazine, but I like this one more. ;)
(arachnid teen - casual version)
some comparison pics with other dolls and other bodies.
wow this figure is WAY better than the other one from supermc toys: the body is very well done, there are a TON of accessories, and the faces look more like the animation. i don't regret getting both figs, but the YR one is going to be the actual teenage Miles with the other teenage dolls.
NOTE: the cocky smile face doesn't come together with the worried face. i had to get the happy face parted out from the battle suit fig.
i still like the larger one, with his worried expression and his soft hair... not sure if he will be a grown-up Miles, or might become someone else.
NOTE: the body you see in my pics with the supermc head is not the supermc body. not sure of the brand but i did already swap him to a slimmer body when i first got him. (the supermc body went to T'challa)
