This picture is taken with Nokia 808 in 8MP mode. Focal length is 26 in 35mm format. Aperture was f2.4. Depth of field was about 22cm. Picture is edited in Lightroom. Picture is then exported so that height is 1920 pixels. I have also taken the same picture with Nokia 920 and Nikon D200.

This morally ambiguous art installation is, fittingly, at the tube station closest to parliament.

Venus, Squall, & Cornice
Not the best light, since the sun is setting. Please pardon my Venus' fur wig, she's waiting for a new one and this is to keep her from having to be bald.

A comparison between a duplicate helmet and a genuine AL helmet.
The one one the left is the clone and the one on the right is AL's.
Note that these are WIPs and they have flaws. I am working to improve on them, but until then, they will not be perfect. I will not give out any imperfect ones unless you tell me that you actually want them and I show you pics of them so I don't get blamed for stuff like "Oh, there's a chip here!"
Also, the helmets are made of resin.
I have put up notes so that you can see what is flawed in the clone that I have showed.
Thanks! :)

Taking celt_dog's advice I tried a softer lighting approach by taking these in a DIY light box to diffuse the harsh light given by the halogens. I think the result is better than the previous rimfire picture.
Every now and again, I like to save screen shots of sites I frequent. It's fun to compare the design iterations over time, and Facebook in particular is known for doing subtle to not-so-subtle ux and design changes often.
For the curious, the left is Facebook as of June 2010, and the right is months earlier; February of 2010.
At Threadless, we're working on a lot of exciting new updates to our site, so we find ourselves dissecting details from the likes of Facebook, Vimeo and even flickr to see what's working, and what's not.
Chime in, what are your thoughts on the design tweaks here and there?
