A cop out shot I'm afraid but I'm away this weekend at the county skill at arms meeting, a bit short of inspiration so I took this shot of a CD that I had in my bag.
Architecture is heading swiftly towards making the most of a space, compact, squashed micro-cities are becoming the normal. No more are 1980's 200sqm apartments a common find, 39sqm three bedroom apartments are all that are available when land becomes the premium it is today. If the only way to expand our cities is up where do we draw the line?

Berlin a accueilli ce vendredi l’initiative Compact with Africa. Une conférence destinée à soutenir l’investissement privé allemand sur le continent. Le Président Macky SALL a pris part aux travaux de cette conférence qui est une belle opportunité pour le Sénégal et le continent de créer des plateformes devant réunir les investisseurs privés allemands et africains autour des projets intégrateurs. Le Chef de l’Etat a mis l’accent sur l’allocation des DTS, la solidarité autour du vaccin, la facilitation de l’investissement en Afrique par des mécanismes appropriés de soutien, l’appui à la relance des economies africaine, la nécessité d’un New Deal avec l’Afrique qui exige un changement radical de mentalité dans la perception des relations avec l’Afrique.
