Mei Tung Estate (traditional Chinese: 美東邨) is a public housing estate at the south of Wong Tai Sin. It consists of 2 Old Slab-typed blocks, each building is 8-storey, providing over 600 flats. Although the estate is near Kowloon City, it belongs to Wong Tai Sin District rather than Kowloon City District because it is located at the north of Tung Tau Tsuen Road (traditional Chinese: 東頭村道), the boundary between two districts.
美東邨（Mei Tung Estate）是香港的一個公共屋邨，屬於九龍黃大仙區，位於東頭村道及聯合道交界。本邨對面雖為九龍寨城公園（前九龍城寨），但在香港行政分區中屬於黃大仙區的西面和南面分界沿聯合道、東頭村道及並與九龍城區為界。因此之故，有不少人誤以為本邨在九龍城區。

The Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class is a compact executive car four-door sedan based on the platform of the Mercedes-Benz A-Class compact car and the B-Class compact car, formally launched at the January 2013 North American International Auto Show. The car was previewed by the 2012 Concept Style Coupe.
It will be the most aerodynamic production vehicle on sale with a Cd=0.23, beating the previous most-aerodynamic, another Mercedes, the 2011 coupe version of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. The yet to be launched CLA 180 CDI Blue Efficiency will be even more aerodynamic with a Cd=0.22

Das Mercedes Style Coupé ist eine Studie, für das als Mercedes-Benz C 117 (CLA) neu eingeführte viertürige Coupé im Kompaktwagen-Segment.
Diese Studie wurde auf der Peking Motor Show im April 2012 erstmals präsentiert. Es handelt sich beim C 117 um das dritte Modell, das auf der modularen Frontantriebsarchitektur, der auch schon die einige Monate zuvor erschienene A-Klasse (W 176) und die 2011 eingeführte B-Klasse (W 246) angehören, basiert. Der CLA ist das windschlüpfigste Serienfahrzeug der Welt, der cw-Wert liegt bei 0,23, als CLA 180 BlueEFFICIENCY Edition sogar bei 0,22.
Das Serienauto wurde am 15. Januar 2013 im Rahmen der Mercedes-Benz-Fashion-Week erstmals der Öffentlichkeit vorgestellt und wird am 13. April 2013 europaweit eingeführt, nachdem die Produktion am 25. Januar 2013 begonnen hat. Zum Marktstart werden fünf Motorisierungen mit ausschließlich vier Zylindern angeboten, die allesamt die Abgasnorm Euro 6 erfüllen.
Die Preise starten bei 28.977 EUR.

Sperryville is in Rappahannock, County, Virginia. Small, but compact, this vernacular house has a large shingled front gable with a decorated vergeboard in the gable (along with an interesting vent). There is some nice woodwork on the small porch posts.

Enviro Waste operate a fleet of Hino vehicles in Greater Wellington on refuse/recycling duties. Here a smaller vehicle designed for accessing dense urban areas and the Wellington CBD is seen passing through Oriental Bay on Wellington's waterfront.

Fujica's pretentionless compact rangefinder with coupled seleniumcell. Note that the leatherette has dried up and retracted with the years, I recommand shoeshine or moistering creme.
Work quickly and efficiently with the plate compactor. Eliminate the need for a worker in the trench.
This large, wheel-type compactor is just the ticket for compacting backfilled trenches 4- to 12-inches wide and up to 4-feet-deep.
Well, ok, this is only some boring shot.
The reason was, to find out about the bokeh capabilities of my compact Canon G10 ...
Result is, not really surprising, that with small objects and macro mode (the golden birds on the fence poles are perhaps 10 cm in height) you can get a quite decent bokeh. Otherwise not.
Good bokeh / good background blur needs:
+ small object distance
+ large focal distance (drawback of the compact cams: short focal lengths :-/ )
+ wide aperture
+ long background distance
.... that's the whole trick ... :-)
These newly built dwellings at Thetford make a refreshing change from the usual mean little "traditional" modern houses, with their sub-Georgian embellishments, cubicle-like rooms and allocated parking. I know a chap who lives a few yards from here. He told me they were going for an "affordable" £120,000. Hmmm. Wouldn't mind one myself. The signboards say that one is sold and one remains for sale. Yet the website says that the agents are property management consultants acting on behalf of landlords. Can't quite work that one out.
My only complaint would be that the ground floor front is all window. This is another example ...habit dies hard... of an architect giving his "end users" what he thinks they ought to have, rather than what they actually want. We're all familiar with the dogma that interiors should be "light" and "airy" and that the inside of the house should merge with the outside. But these are abstractions. Human beings require privacy, retreat, "defensible space" and refuge from the world's scrutiny. Top-to-bottom windows might do on the garden front, but nobody wants to live in a goldfish bowl. The new owners of the three occupied houses have already had to spend a pretty penny on net curtains.

- Yashica Electro 35 GTN (GSN's darker cousin) is excellent for low light shots, and have perfect ergonomics despite its largest size. The RF patch is the most contrasty, and the meter works consistently. It is also considered one of the prettier cameras.
- Minoltina AL-S is the lightest and most compact with the best all-around lens Rokkor 40/1.8. About the same size as Canonet QL17, but lighter.
- Canon Canonet QL17 (new) is the most capable and a very good lens, albeit weak RF patch on my sample (thus the blue filter). The meter is still working, but slow speeds are off.
- Fujica 35-ML has the most 3D looking Fujinon lens (despite slower at f2.8), and slightly different operations (thumb wheel focusing, bottom film advance lever like Retinas). Solid like a brick.
Compact is a neat little studs up font. Basic, but gets the job done. Perfect for signing mosaics.
