Global Udhiya/ Qurbani /Zabiha Program in Mexico implemented by Br. Shahid Hussain with the help of Islamic Center in Rosarito, Mexico
'It was late evening. We had completed the formal launch of distribution of our relief supplies (7 days package) in Ukkamnal. The speeches were over; crowds were still waiting for the rest of the distribution. Some of us went off to visit the community. The village still looked ravaged by the floods – damp walls, soggy ground, and lost look on people’s faces. They told us this kind of disaster had never happened in the recent past. For many this village was the only home they knew and now faced with the possibility of being evicted to a 'safer' area. They told us of houses that collapsed, crops that were completely washed, migration that is happening, having to borrow from money lenders. They all however agreed on one thing 'only God can help us.'

North Kolkata where World Vision India works. They were given an opportunity to experiment with photography. Cameras were handed out and they were told they can take photos of whatever they like in their community. They were taught the basics of photography and sent out into
their community. Here’s what they came back with!
