The Dingo Is Australia's Wild Dog . It is found in Australia, in all states but Tasmania. They are found throughout the mainland of Australia, close to a source of water. The Dingo is a medium sized dog, with a bushy tail, and red to yellow coat. Dingos do not bark, but they do howl. It is not a native animal to Australia, and it is unsure how it arrived on this land, but the current theories are:
- Dingos were brought to Australia 15,000 years ago by Koori people.
- Dingos may be related to wild dogs in South East Asia, and taken to Australia for trade by sea-farers.
They are meat eaters, and try to feed mainly on this. If unavailable, dingos have been known to eat reptiles, and any food source it can find. When food is scarce, dingos group together to feed on larger animals such as kangaroos. Dingos usually stay and hunt in family groups or solitare.
Dingos mate once a year, and the female dingo (bitch) gives birth to up to eight puppies. The puppies are weened for two months.
An Amazing Fact: When the puppies are two months old, the mother then regurgitates food for the pups for another two months. After the pups are about four months old, they then begin hunting small game such as rabbits. (From Australian Fauna)

Writing my essay I got bored and noticed that the bubbles that formed on my straw kind of resembled the "Unknown Pleasures" mountains for Joy Division.

Probably my absolute favourite thing about the job I do (cleaning ovens) is that I get to meet lots of dogs at people's houses. I adore dogs!
Ihad a really good run in early April - loads of canine company!
Arches is one of our favorite National Parks - we have been there many times but still find something new every time we visit. This time we learned not to go over Spring Break when the otherwise quiet park was absolutely mobbed. Despite that we had a great trip.
I took these photos at Arches National Park near Moab, Utah in March 2019.
Many have commented that this looks like the Sorting Hat from Harry Potter

Joshua Tree National Park
I mapped this one so others can find it. You have to walk out several hundred feet from one of the main stops in the park. This was shot around 6 pm, shadows were longer and the stone has nice lighting at that time of day.
Commenting on PDFs or scribbling on print-outs, annotated slides is a common way to make notes in lectures.
Comments are very appreciated. But please no awards of the glittery kind and "post 1, comment 5" type and no multiple invitations in one comment - they will be deleted, sorry.

If you're afraid to fall, you'll keep falling forever.
Been so busy with school I have no time for photography. It makes me so sad.
So here is what I looked like today. I helped a friend with one of her make-up midterms. It was on eras and she did a simple 70's look on me. Didn't take very long and for that I was thankful.
This isn't anything special. In fact, it's really nothing at all. I just felt like showing my face and what the make-up looked like before I washed it all away.
I'll try and see if I can keep up with my stuff more. I'll do my best. I still need to finish this over due 52 weeks.
Life's getting stressful, -sigh-.
Family members, friends and Wisconsin National Guard officials welcome home 15 soldiers of the 112th Public Affairs Detachment at state Guard headquarters in Madison March 19, 2009. The soldiers arrived by bus from Fort McCoy after returning earlier in the week from a one-year deployment to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, where they provided information about detainee operations and assisted U.S. and foreign news media organizations in covering the Guantanamo story. Okay, so where the hell have I been?
I have gotten a few flickrmails and a few comments checking in on me. No, I did not quit Flickr, the 365days or This Is Today projects, yes I will play in another Mission 24 mission soon (I am a moderator there, so why wouldn't I), and yes I will be posting again.
As some of you know I am picking up and packing up my house. We are getting ready to move but first need to sell the house. In order to sell the house, especially in a weak market, we need it to look great. My family however, being a family of home-schooled children and a family of packrats amassed a lot of crap. Open homes with lots of space sells better than a labyrinth of over packed closets and maze-like arrangements of desks and computers. So we have been cleaning it like crazy!
We buckled down for some big projects around the house inbetween all of our full-time jobs... and next thing I know I have no time to anything but cleaning and working. I never missed a daily picture, but I missed posting them for two weeks.
Last night, as shown by my 15th photo, I finished my bedroom. Five weeks ago at the Garage sale we sold the two beds my brother and I had slept in since we moved into the house 13 years ago. Since I sold that bed, I have slept on a couch or floor. Two weeks ago we bought a bed for me at IKEA, but the bedroom first had to clean. So inbetween group family projects and work, I was slowly making progress in my room. With it done a whole bunch of time is freed up. My photography will return to a more active part of my life.
So I am sorry about the absence but I hope you enjoy my fifteen day awaited flickr bomb. Thanks for all the comments, flickrmails, and the like... it is cool to know that you guys care about me... as do I you.
