Since the COVID-19 global pandemic, it has been over a year since countries began implementing lockdown restrictions and airlines parking aircraft due to low demand.
United Airlines was unsurprisingly heavily affected as being the US3 to have the largest international presence. With little to no demand, the vast majority of their ageing wide-body jets were placed into short-term storage awaiting their future. The only permanent withdrawals were the Pratt & Whitney-powered Boeing 757-200s, which was nothing compared to the scale of withdrawals that came from American Airlines and Delta Air Lines.
The Boeing 767 fleet was unsurprising one of the casualties; mainly utilised on transatlantic and Latin America flights, their usage significantly dropped with the entire fleet having been parked.
Things began to look up when United began returning a small portion of their Boeing 767-300ER fleet back into service during the W20 season, primarily for use on US domestic flights, and now over half have since returned to service with repaints having been resumed and refurbishment expected to recommence in the near future.
However, what was puzzling was the lack of updates on their Boeing 767-400ERs which saw no activity through the W20 schedule as demand slowly began to pick up. There were rumours that United were looking to dump the fleet with their non-standard layout being highlighted (notably the use of General Electric engines instead of Pratt & Whitney's on the Boeing 767-300ERs).
In the previous two years, United Airlines did make an effort to install proper crew-rest facilities on the Boeing 767-400ER fleet, with Polaris Business Class seats to have been installed beginning from August 2020, but of course COVID-19 delayed that.
Well, it seems the rumours were unfounded as United has begun the process of reactivating their Boeing 767-400ER fleet, with the first emerging from storage on 3rd March 2021 having been ferried from Roswell (where all of United's Boeing 767-400ERs have been stored) to San Francisco before being further ferried to Tokyo Narita and arriving into Hong Kong on 26th March 2021 where it will undergo maintenance prior to re-entry to service.
Their re-entry into services comes at a time where United requires more wide-bodies, which there is a shortage due to all Pratt & Whitney-powered Boeing 777s being parked following United Flight 328 which suffered a contained engine failure on departure from Denver, Colorado to Honolulu, Hawaii.
At present, there is no date as to when the Boeing 767-400ERs will return to service with United, but things are looking good for the type as United prepares for their reintroduction.
Currently, United Airlines operates 54 Boeing 767s, which includes 38 Boeing 767-300ERs (18 currently in short-term storage) and 16 Boeing 767-400ERs (all currently in short-term storage).
November Five Nine Zero Five Three is one of 16 Boeing 767-400ERs operated by United Airlines, delivered new to Continental Airlines on 6th October 2000 prior to the merger with United Airlines on 1st October 2010 and she is powered by 2 General Electric CF6-80C2B7F engines. Since 31st March 2020, she has been in short-term storage at Roswell, New Mexico.

So auch bei 151 129 die den Halter D-SEL jetzt trägt. Die im Jahr 1976 gebaute 151 129 wurde zum dritten mal zum Leben erweckt. Zusehen mit dem ursprünglichen Lack der Lok fuhr sie heute ihre erste Etappe von Engelsdorf nach Hannover Hbf. Bei der Durchfahrt in Königslutter konnte sie bildlich festgehalten werden.

The Puffing Billy Railway has faced many challenges over its more than 60 year preservation history, and 2020 saw it face one of it's biggest hurdles when the railway was forced to cease operations on March 22nd due to concerns over the rapidly-spreading Covid-19 virus.
250 days later on November 28th 2020, the sound of steam made a triumphant return to the Dandenong Ranges as PBR's 7A (with appropriately adorning decorations) departed Belgrave on train number 9 to Lakeside. The first revenue train is met with great celebration from railway enthusiasts and locals alike as it crosses the iconic Monbulk Trestle Bridge and prepares to climb towards Selby once more. 28/11/20
This proved to be the first of several 'first trains' back on the railway, as the railway was closed and subsequently re-opened several more times over the following 18 months due to Victoria's Covid-19 restrictions.
As you may see I am back! I am fine and keep on being Zarah. However my little daughter is the number one so Zarah comes after the family. I have a new job, a new apartment so you may understand why I am not too active in my favourite ego. Hugs and kisses, Zarah

Floating on the vibe of insignificant, the monster which each of us owns, makes us think that our new place in life is better and save for us to stay. While it grows in size, it grows in power, and its influence leaves us behind helpless, clueless and desolate … we start losing control.
After the monster raged over us, it leaves us back as a barren black desert. The bleak part of our mind is an awful place: It makes us want to believe that there is no hope, no future, no reason to be. Unfortunately, some of us will be kept to a greater or lesser extent by the power they handed over to the darkness.
The marvel of life persists of the fact that eventually there is a chance of making wasteland seminal again. A possibility of liberating from the bonds that peculate joy.
