January 21, 2019. I burned my throat on hot soup last night and took a sick day today. It was the right call. Not only because of the accident on the highway that would have detoured me on the way to work, but because even a few short breaths of the -26 cold on a quick milk run were painful.

A day off in Switzerland and we found a beautiful lake. Unfortunately the rivers running in to the lake were snow run offs from the mountain so I really regretted the swim.

Instant Coffee
Sugar
Milk
Ice
A little boy who can be convinced that the coffee shaker is actually a cleverly designed rattle for him to shake.

It's cold here in GA today. How the 85 pound monster can get so small I'll never know. And he's sitting on a full size bed pillow!

Didn't realise how brutally cold it would be today. Didn't pack a beanie, but did have my mask for on the train, which helped a lot.
