Am äußersten Zipfel der Halbinsel ist Cape Cod - der Ort an dem die Pilgrims von England her Amerika besiedelt haben. Ein besonderes Gefühl, auf diesem Strand zu gehen.

1 day off in Cape Cod, whale cruise and some walking in the town.

Dunes, beach, Cape Cod National Seashore, Provincetown, Mass.

At least they use all of the fish. Cod heads are apparently used for soup broth.

Just one of a number of hearty souls out with her canine companions for a trip to the boardwalk before the sun went down. This little guy in the front was particularly exuberant - impossible to catch a real shot of but a pleasure to watch with that pretty coat of "hair" rippling in the wind.
