we really liked this suggestion from svea for the coconut oil. it did seem to help a bit but the first couple of times she went very red. and the rocky mountain body butter sticks are awesome cuz they give her the freedom to apply them herself and give her some control over the application. We have a stick that she can use anytime she feels itchy and it empowers her over the eczema i think.

The soap appears to have turned out nicely! Woohhoooo! The lavender scent from the essential oil is very strong at this point. I'm guessing it will mellow out a bit as it cures. I also wish I had added more ground oats, but I can do that in the next oaty batch I make. It sliced nicely and I'm very very pleased! I've got them on a rack curing now, they will cure for 4 to 6 weeks, then I can try some out! Wooohoooo!
I bought some goat's milk today to try in my next batch.....stay tuned :)
