CoCo-chan is my friend's SDgr Jun Tachibana and also Enzo's baby sister.

I never have such adorable and cheerful SD girl before. It's fun to have CoCo-chan around.

She kinda reminds me of my Yuzuyu XD.

Coco trying out the new doggie life jacket in my mom's pool. At first he had a little trouble staying upright, he kept listing to one side then the other! Only took him about 30 seconds or so to get the hang of it, but he tired quickly. He's around 12 now.

And yup - we did lift them out by the handle! It's really easy to just give them a quick boost up the stairs, so they don't get panicky trying to get out.

Me encanta esta foto <3

Coco, our last greyhound, went to join her brothers Milton,

Tucker and Rick yesterday. We are understandably heartbroken

with grief. I saw this tonight, and it seemed perfect.

Coco was not just a shining light in our lives, she was perhaps the

sweetest, kindest dog that ever "owned me."

R.I.P. Sweet girl, you enriched our lives more then you could ever know,

and are surely one of the brightest lights somewhere above now.

Much love, all of us...and "Andy" too xoxo

(Comments are disabled... instead, go hug your pet if you have one, and

cherish every second with them. Coco would <3 that.)

Coco on the front lawn, looking alarmingly like a tiny baby hamsters! So CUTE!

i love coco dolls! They are Glinda,Enrietta and Ferola . .

Entry for &Stitches flash card contest. I designed this card to feature my cat, Coco Chanel (aka Cocobunny, for her bunny paws). The drawing is my own, and the font is called Lemon Chicken. The stitched area is 3 3/4" x 5 3/4". I loved every minute of working on it, and I'm very excited, as this is my first ever contest entry!

I used mainly back stitch, with a bit of satin stitch on the eyes, and some tiny French knots to shape the pupils. For many of the curved furs, I used a stitch I learned at Wild Olive, from her tutorial on making little smiles. I don't know the name of it, but it's quite handy!

I just finished! It's Maaike's little Coco, Hazel :)

I have been wanting to do a faceup on a Lati Yellow for the longest time, and here she is! Yay!

What do you think?

(the lighting is a bit odd because it's night time)

Anna was gone today and we totally bonded. She is getting sweeter and sweeter as she gets acclimated.

Coco, mi nuevo bebé...alegria de la casa...

Amy and Coco where another two cats hand raised by my friend Eileen. Amy was from her first litter raised and all her brother and sisters found homes quickly. Then Coco and Cassy came along, Casssy quickly found a home. So that left Amy and Coco, they soon were inseparable friends. They ended up going to a home together, as the new owners could not seperate them.

RECEITA:

1 lata de leite condensado

1 vez a mesma medida de leite

3 ovos

1 garrafa pequena de leite de coco

1 xícara de coco ralado

Melissa ( cybermelli) inspired me to finally look for this girl! So here she is...my first Coco doll! Her name is Doris Day because of her blonde hair and sweet face! She just seemed like a Doris Day to me!! Poor thing..I haven't changed her clothes yet! However, for those of you who have a Coco...does your doll's head spin like the Exorcist? Her head is really loose!

Finally finished Ashley's boots

The fall season is upon us, and with that comes a new Pixar film. Now I’m going to be honest, Pixar’s Coco has probably been my least most anticipated Pixar movie ever, well, besides the Cars movies because I refuse to watch those. I don’t know what is was about it, the marketing for this film was just so bland and I felt like this movie has been done before! Anyways, some of my friends got so see it a few weeks before and they said it was amazing, so I decided to check out this movie with my family as soon as I could and since I’m back from my vacation I’m ready to give my thoughts on the film!

Good: Now with all my low expectations coming into the film, I think it’s safe to say that Coco blew me away. For starters, the message in this film about family was absolutely beautiful. Now this movie didn’t get me as emotional as a Toy Story 3 or an Inside Out, but I would be lying to you if I said I didn’t get misty eyed during this film. The visuals in Coco were absolutely spectacular aswell, there are some shots of the land of the dead that absolutely blew me away! The designs of this film were some of my favorite out of any Pixar film, I really loved the style of the skeletons in this movie! With all that being said, the greatest thing about this film is how Coco both showcases and celebrates Mexican culture. I just really loved how the aesthetics of this film emphasized Mexican culture in this film, whether that be through the designs as I said before, or more importantly the music. Now I’m pretty sure Michael Giacchino did the music for the film and he absolutely knocked it out of the park! Music is such a big part of this film and I love how it’s used to contribute to both world building and character development, which leads to some pretty emotional moments in the film. Finally, I’d like to spotlight how great the voice cast for this film was. I’ve never really payed attention to the voice cast in a Pixar film, but I realised after the film that pretty much the entire cast was latino or latina, which is awesome. Also, there wasn’t any big names in this film which I like when it comes to a voice cast. The only people I recognized were Benjamin Bratt, who was the dude with a broken back in Doctor Strange; and Edward James Olmos, who of course is Gaff in Blade Runner.

Bad: Now first thing I want to just vent about has nothing to do with Coco, but what comes before it. The Frozen short that plays before Coco is the absolute definition of a living hell. For starters, it’s Frozen and I fucking hate Frozen, but also it’s 21 minutes long and it felt like the longest 21 minutes of my entire life. It’s just dumb Olaf crap and singing and I hated every second of it. It’s one of the most stupid and insulting pieces of animation that I’ve ever seen and if you are going to see Coco, which I really recommend doing, I honestly recommend you showing up like 30 minutes late to skip the mind numbing trailers and the horrendous Frozen short. Anyways, my only problem with Coco is there were lots of Twists and turns that were so predictable, and the film becomes pretty by-the-numbers at the end that makes this movie not in the top tier of my favorite Pixar films.

Overall, Coco is a beautiful film that celebrates a culture that we never really get to see in big films, and it perfectly does that expert animation and a beautiful soundtrack. Now all though the story predictable plot doesn’t make it as memorable as some of Pixar’s best. That being said, I still loved Coco a lot and I recommend you go check out this film when you have the chance to, just remember what I said about showing up late. I’m going to give Coco an 8/10. If you’ve seen Coco, let me know what you thought of it in the comments below!
