Light: Large clamshell setup with the Elinchrom ELC 1000 through a large silver Beauty Dish with silver deflector from the front-top-side, which creates the high contrast in her face. Elinchrom ELC 500 with small strip box from the front-bottom-side, to lower the density of some shadows and to flatten the legs. Elinchrom ELC 500 through a large LiteMotiv Strip from the back. I measured the light with the Sekonic L-758DR.
Postprocessing: Some local adjustment curves, some painting, local cloning.

en américa, el coco no fue sembrado por nadie. se sembró solo. desprendido de algún árbol de la malasia, rodó por la arena y se dejó llevar por las aguas. flotando en los mares del mundo, el coco navegante llegó a las costas americanas. estas playas le gustaron, y desde entonces nos ofrece su jugo curandero.
andrea díaz iba trotando, una tardecita, a orillas del pacífico, cuando perdió las rodillas, que se salieron de su sitio. en el puerto de quepos, le dieron agua de coco:
–tómese esto –mandó un buen hombre que la había recogido en el camino.

–adán y eva bebían nada más que esto, y no tenían ninguna enfermedad.
ella obedeció, pero no pudo callarse la boca:
–¿y usted cómo sabe?
el hombre la miró con pena:

It's a happy one :) She will be laid up for a couple weeks...but, it's not cancer!! I am so relieved. She doesn't look so hot in this pic (anesthesia still wearing off), but at least she is home <3 and able to lay down and be somewhat comfortable. No clue what happened, but likely she was horsing around running with Milton this morning and wrenched her back...never made a sound! Greyhounds are rather notorious for not showing pain, so by the time they let you know they are hurting, it's usually really bad. Which was the case with Rick last year, and today with her.
She's sending everyone kisses, and many thanks for the good karma!

Since this day has been a complete waste...I didn't get anything done but washing all the dog beds and cleaning the wood floors. I have to stay busy when one of the fur babies isn't home...nervous habit I think. Anyway, I guess tomorrow I'll be doing all the things I should have got done today...including play catch up with all of you! Thanks again everyone!! :)
Coco, our five-month-old Chocolate Labrador Retriever puppy, has discovered the joy of lying on the bed and seems quite pleased with herself.
A gift for a friend whos beloved four legged friend passed this year. This version shows a sweeter face of Coco.
If i hook up with coco one time she would want to be my wife, only thing that stops me is i'm skared of ice t's knife...

Poor Coco has been neglected far too long and it's time to re-home her. She will come in the outfit shown. Haircut, blush and whites of eyes painted by previous owner. Lips are stock (they came to me painted, but I managed to remove that). Comes from a non-smoking home.
Coco is one of those dogs, that not only is easy to train, she sometimes picks up things on her own. Many times, my wife and I look at each other and ask, "How did she know how to do than?"
pastel on cartridge paper... took bloody ages, but really love how it came out. belated mother's day present.
The ones we purchased from Coco's. :) (Actually, a half-dozen.) All very yummy. The buttercream frosting is actually quite light without losing the wonderful taste.
Hubby ate three - a chocolate delight, the peanut butter and chocolate, and the white cupcake with buttercream. I could only eat one chocolate delight and nibbles of the ones hubby had to see how they tasted. All: excellent. Moist cake and delicious frosting. Rumor has it there is a good cupcake shop in Mt. Lebanon, but I also hear the cake tends to be dry. I dare them to take on Coco's!
