Plaza de la Revolución, Vedado, La Habana, Cuba.
- Coco taxis and Vintage taxis are very present around Plaza de la Revolución, the central administrative division of the Cuban government. In early colonial times, it was forbidden to build on these lands to be able to see at far the enemy fleets coming. Hence the name of Vedado, which means forbidden in Spanish.

- Coco taxis y taxis de época están muy presentes alrededor de la Plaza de la Revolución, la división administrativa central del gobierno cubano. En los primeros tiempos de la colonia, que estaba prohibido construir en estas tierras para ser capaz de ver en el momento las flotas enemigas que viene. De ahí el nombre del Vedado, lo que significa prohibido en español.

I’ve adopted a dog! His name is Coco and he’s from the shelter! Nobody wanted him because he didn’t fit in the gift box due to his height. He saw that terriers, poodles and stray dogs were put into gift boxes and sent off to a new owner. Coco was left behind but kept hoping he’d be adopted one day, and… success!
I saw Coco pop up on Mummy Marian’s laptop screen. He’s coming to live with us and I had to promise to look after him properly. I’m going to take Coco to dog training and go for a walk 10 times a day… and… I’m going to cuddle him and take him to the dog park. Ooo… I can’t wait for Coco to arrive. He has to go into quarantine first.
Punkinhead, ‘the sad little bear’, was a rubber toy bear with a tuft of unruly orange hair. He was designed and developed as a character in a children’s book by the Canadian cartoonist Charles Thorson. The bears were produced by Merrythought. (Beautifully hand crafted in Merrythought a British historical factory. The plush is mohair and the paws are made of cotton velvet). The Dachshund is also handcrafted by Merrythought
