On our last day at our resort in Cayo Coco, we paid for a late check-out and spent the morning at the beach. In the late afternoon we sat by a lagoon and I made this sketch. There were large fish in the lagoon and some flamingos. It was a pleasant spot to spend our last hours in Cuba.

I swear, the guy was waving at me and the lady as well as the infant were smiling at me while I panned and shot this incoming taxi.
I included one more photo that's similar type of street shot in the comment box.
Enjoy and have a great weekend!

The phrase 'I should coco' originated in the 1930's and means something along the lines of 'I should think so'. The question in my mind is why this lovely lady is thinking just that. Has someone just made her a surprising offer that she just can't turn down? I'd like to think so. She looks a bit like she's just stepped out of a 70's sitcom so I'm thinking someone has just made her a bawdy (and probably somewhat sexist) offer and her response is 'I should coco' followed by peals of canned laughter. Well, that's what I think and i'm sticking with it...
Cheers

Meet Coco. My naughty and extra smart one. He is adopted and a mix of Rottweiler and some other breed I do not know the name of. He came home (India) when I was here so, I haven't got a chance to meet him in person, but I get to see him every day over video calls. This is one of the everyday rituals. He jumps on the window to look around what is happening and if his friends are around so he could get downstairs and play with them. My first one is Oscar, a Golden Retriever; the shy and sweet and overfriendly. Probably will be coming with Oscar's beautiful memory soon. I miss them both. When I go back home for a short trip, I hope I get to spend ample time with them.

Light: Large clamshell setup with the Elinchrom ELC 1000 through a large silver Beauty Dish with silver deflector from the front-top-side, which creates the high contrast in her face. Elinchrom ELC 500 with small strip box from the front-bottom-side, to lower the density of some shadows and to flatten the legs. Elinchrom ELC 500 through a large LiteMotiv Strip from the back. I measured the light with the Sekonic L-758DR.

It's not just about the plants. Or the people I meet. I also love my job for the wonderful dogs and cats whose company I have the pleasure of ... many of whom enjoy being 'helpful' while I work!
Coco took some time to grow on me, I thought she was just too 'pretty'at first... Of course, she won't be staying in this makeup long, because it just isn't very 'me'. I'm thinking of having her redone in her YSL style... what do you think?

Another eye macro :P She stood still for just along enough to blast the flash into the ceiling and light up the room. Then back to playing tug of war.
He was too tired on my first visit, but today he came up to me and licked my hands and my fingers... and my camera too!

The clothes are nicely made. They have the dreaded velcro closures but other than that I think they are real value for money.
