We met at Exit on Division, it was Bondage-A-Go-Go night and we discussed the atmosphere.
My approach style was direct - eye contact and greeting
Her hair caught my eye.
I've been asked to show a little of my face up work, so here are a few for your browsing enjoyment. :0)
This Lati Green Coco, better known as Mia, is one I made over for a good friend.
Coco taxis can be seen all over Havana, and a couple of other cities in Cuba. Scooter-driven, they're small, round, and not dissimilar to the motorised rickshaw and tuk-tuk of South-east Asia.
They're so-called because their shape is said to resemble half a coconut. And, like their Asian counterparts, they make a noise and can reach sometimes nerve-wracking speeds.

Here's Coco, my new hybrid! She's a Dollstown Soyu head on the SQ Lab SG body. I'm sorry for the crappy phone pic, daylight's gone! I'll soon take better pics! I hope I'll be able to do her faceup on Wednesday.
Coco est un mainate beau parleur. Un phénomène qui possède un riche vocabulaire et l'emploie fort à propos.

DJ COCO came back to the Pagoda Stage!
★ About DJ coco:
Born and raised in Yokohama, Japan, DJ COCO moved to San Jose, California in the summer of 2004. She quickly became an active part of the local art, music, and skateboarding scenes as both a colorful character and a DJ. She has blazed a 10 year long trail through music festivals, underground punk shows, art galleries and even taquerias, spinning her signature mix of J-Pop, soul, French ye-ye, and retrofuturistic chiptune. This will be her second appearance at J-Pop Summit.

This is from a portrait session I did with a camper. She won the session in a camp-wide auction. I loved working with this sweet mannered, beautiful girl.
Unfortunately, my summer job was not what was described, and I came home yesterday. I'm currently looking for a part-time job, and new clients. Sometimes life really doesn't go as planned. I'm trying to stay positive.
Guanacaste, Costa Rica
Unlike most Beaches in the Papagayo region of Guanacaste, Coco's water composition maintains a unique blue-gray tint, instead of the area's usual blue-green. The laidback beach is a favorite for both foreigners and Ticos who frequently take part in the town's ongoing fiesta. Coco's party grows in size and intensity after the end of rainy season, and at times, the beach can feel overrun with visitors. It is busiest during late November and December when most Ticos take their main holiday. Travelers seeking a laidback environment, free of noise, should probably steer clear of Coco Beach. However, those visitors in search of a party should look no further.
Nightlife can be found in the bars with close proximity to the town's central plaza. Other entertainment venues include casinos and discos. Restaurants are widespread, and many restaurants may double as bars after nightfall. In addition to these nightlife activities, Playa del Coco offers a wide range of ocean activities, whether it is world-class sport fishing, snorkeling, Scuba Diving, or relaxing on a boat and on the beach.
Coco is the largest of the Papagayo villages, and services are abundant. Facilities such as shops and supermarkets are available throughout town. The village center looks rundown compared to the usual opulence found along Guanacaste's northern coast. However, the Coco area does offer its share of luxury resorts. Affordable accommodations are also plentiful, attracting a number of locals and budget travelers throughout the year.
As for arriving at Coco from abroad, the Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport in Liberia facilitates seamless travel to the region. Otherwise, driving from San Jose takes about five hours by car. Buses from either Liberia or San Jose run daily.
Not far from Coco Beach is Marino Las Baulas National Park (Parque Nacional Marino las Baulas). At Marino Las Baulas, visitors may be fortunate enough to experience the once in a lifetime opportunity of seeing mass turtle nesting behavior (arribadas). The Leatherback, Pacific Green, and Hawksbill turtles all make their nests in this area. During an arribada, a large mass of turtles-sometimes thousands-storm the beach to lay eggs. By laying their eggs simultaneously, individual turtles increase the likelihood their nest will survive predation.

Coco (on the left) gives Jack one of those looks of hers guaranteed to melt a tiger's heart. Or not. Jack's a hard one.
I recently adopted a factory "saffy" and these are her eyes and hair that Coco is borrowing...I just wanted to see what she'd look like put together. I think she is so cute :D
Coco is going to get a wool reroot eventually so this is not her final look...I am pretty sure she's going to have long, big, wavy black hair :) Maybe with some straight short bangs...I envision her with a girly-punkish kind of style :D
(This curly blonde scalp is sooooo pretty and fun to style. It reminds me of Michelle Pfeiffer's hair when she played Cat woman! I loved her in that movie)

What a little cutie-pie! I've waffled over which Pang-ju I preferred for a long time and finally decided on Coco-pang. Photos don't do him justice. The faceup is even more smoky in person. And the box liner makes the perfect backdrop for his debut. I guess I've decided he's a boy puppy so I'll need to come up with an appropriate name. I hope this isn't the beginning of a new collection for me!
