Bin überrascht, dass man auch mit einem modernen Makroobjektiv solche Bokehs "malen" kann.
Änderungen am Kontrast über Graduationskurve.
I am surprised that it is also possibe to "paint" such bokehs using a modern macro lens.

Since the DREI’s acquisition of the EIRC’s ex-NKP Cloverleaf route, the CSX grain trains have been keeping their power on for the trip to Oakland and back. Yesterday’s loaded grain train happened to have freshly rebuilt CSXT 4538 and 88 for power. This power is some of the biggest and heaviest power to traverse this line since the NKP steam days. Seen here north of Brocton, the 88 puffs out a plume of smoke as the engineer notches up over the hill.
1539 and friends have a 99 car loaded grain train in their grasp as they enter the village of Sycamore on the former NKP Cloverleaf route.
Back in 90's I got a new wallet as a present. It came with a four-leaf clover covered in plastic pouch. Wallet wore out, but I always planted this cloverleaf in new wallets. Now this leaf is in pieces, but I like to think that as long as I keep it in my wallet -it will never be empty... :-D
Male largely white, with black back, black head with greenish and purplish gloss, and large white patch from behind eye to top and back of head. The whiter part has details that mostly blown out. I am not sure if it is my camera or too much light on the light facing side.
Decatur and Eastern Illinois (DREI) train 101 ambles west at Metcalf, IL on former B&O rails, crossing the former Nickel Plate, which itself is now the DREI line down to Neoga and a connection with CN.

Late 90s Alfa seen in SE London, already a rare sight to see now, still taxed and MOT'd having done 102k miles.
After lunch in Decatur we found our way to Peterson which was located on the old NKP/N&W Cloverleaf District. I found this abandoned bridge next to Peterson Grain Co. which was a customer when the line was still operating.

With 112 cars loaded in Oakland, DREI train 400 heads for an interchange with Canadian National at Neoga Illinois, seen between Fairgrange and and Charleston Illinois. The train is slowly rocking back and forth on the former Nickel Plate Cloverleaf Division which ran from East St. Louis Illinois to Frankfort Indiana. The section from Metcalf to Neoga Illinois, about 56 miles or so, are now under the control of Watco's Decatur and Eastern Illinois Railroad. The DREI had purchased this section from the Eastern Illinois Railroad (EIRC) in December of 2019. Nearly all the rest of the Cloverleaf is abandoned except for a small section from Sorento to Coffeen IL to allow coal trains to access the Coffeen power plant.
An abandoned grain elevator in the small town of Forest in Clinton County. The elevator is located along the Cloverleaf line of the Nickel Plate Road & later the N&W Rwy.
This is Chandra's X-ray 2004 view of the so-called Cloverleaf quasar, a single object whose image has been reproduced four times through an effect known as "gravitational lensing." This process occurs when the gravitational field of a massive, intervening object bends and magnifies light from a distant quasar to produce the multiple images. The foreground galaxies in this case are too faint to be seen in these images. One of the images in the Cloverleaf is brighter than the others in both optical and X-ray light. This is due to "microlensing," where a single or binary star in one of the intervening galaxies passes directly in front of the small, X-ray producing region around the quasar's supermassive black hole. X-ray microlensing gives astronomers a new and extremely precise probe of the gas flow around the supermassive black hole.

Brasília's 62nd birthday is coming up April 21. Whitewashed curbs are an annual ritual, but the floss silk trees really steal the show.
