So Christ was offered as a sacrifice one time to take away the sins of many people. And he will come a second time, but not to offer himself for sin. He will come the second time to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
It has been said that optical astronomy from the surface of the earth is like bird watching from the bottom of a lake. My view of this partial solar eclipse phenomena was completely obscured by clouds for most of the event and this image was photographed through a muddling layer of cloud. The cluster of sunspots near the center of the sun adjacent to the lunar umbra was designated as AR3842. Its twisted magnetic polarity was highly energetic creating an X-class solar flare that will likely produce geomagnetic storms and auroras within the next several days. 02 October 2024.
This is the very next picture in series to the previous one here in Flickr . . Taken 7 seconds later. . . however a little work in Photoshop Lightroom has brought out the colors as they originally appeared - and I feel is superior to the one before.
This is more what I actually experienced!
Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, USA - at the end of a beautiful day.
Coming across another rise and seeing this beautiful scene absolutely took my breath away. Wish my photo could be half as beautiful as the scene itself.

CN train A419 passes the preserved elevator at Kinuso Alberta on the Slave Lake Subdivision. It took me three trips to finally shoot a train at this elevator, and of course this day turned out to be the only cloudy period of our nine day adventure!
No way could I pass a opportunity to shoot something with the beautiful sky.
Of course this was on my way to shoot swans.

A low and gray day near the Knik River, waiting for better visibility to go up on the helicopter. Looks black+white but is actually color.
Les nuages, c'est comme les rêves. Tantôt gais, tantôt tristes. On croit les tenir, ils se décomposent sous la main. Le souvenir est souvent ce qu'il en reste de meilleur.

Every sunset is different, because every day; sun
is different, clouds are different, space is different,
reflections are different....mountains are different,
fogs are different, and above all, we are different.

Sunsets are proof; that no matter what
happens...every day can end beautifully.
