The mechanical semaphore signals of Klanxbüll get no rest, as countless trains pass the station to and from the island of Sylt on the North Sea, which is only connected to land by a railway line.
218.832 leads an afternoon SyltShuttle train with a car transport from the island. The train is drawn to a halt, as it awaits for a blue AutoZug lead by a diesel Vectron locomotive to pass in the Gegenrichtung. The 'free way' signal for the train is already shown.
It seems that, despite having visited the Marschbahn during summertime, cloudy weather accompanied us for most of our stays. Let's hope our next trip to Germany doesn't end like this :)

In bird in flight photography, we should focus on birds’ eyes and heads, and them being in good focus and sharp. The other parts of the bird need to be sharp too, but if the eyes and heads aren’t sharp, we should delete the picture mostly. Zoom in 100% in on the pictures and see if they are sharp in the eyes and head.
The Rockefeller Center is definitely one of the best places in Manhattan to appreciate the skyline, specially the Empire State Building. This cloudy winter day shows a different perspective of the Big Apple.

There I post more of my work.
Overcast and moody sunrise from Putty Beach Headland in the Bouddi National Park on the Central Coast, NSW, Australia.
Just above the trees and slightly to the left, one can barely make out the uprights of the Golden Gate Bridge. Before, during, and after, it’s been a cloudy Christmas!
Using my Lee Big Stopper 10-stop ND filter, I photographed beneath the pier at Folly Beach, SC. This is a 5 minute exposure. I used Silver Efex Pro to process the image.

A beautiful evening to test out my new wide angle lens. I had to focus stack two images as the foreground was really close to the lens.

So pleased I made the trip to Redcliffe this morning. It just highlights that there doesn't have to be red skies to make a sunrise spectacular.

Rare pano from me shot with the with the 70-200mm lens when doing a surf check early one morning 2 weeks ago. Got some good low cloud quite regularly due to the humid North East Winds and approaching weather front

Attempted HDR with PS. One of my friend asked whether I know how to create HDR with PS. I said I don't know... but later I found out :)
