CN train A419 passes the preserved elevator at Kinuso Alberta on the Slave Lake Subdivision. It took me three trips to finally shoot a train at this elevator, and of course this day turned out to be the only cloudy period of our nine day adventure!
Every cloud has its silver lining but it is sometimes a little difficult to get it to the mint.

There are days like that when being there (with the camera) is enough and the nature does all the job...
Beautifully decorated double drawbridge over the lock at the South Holland village of Strijensas, municipality of Hoeksche Waard. The lock in the Port Canal of Strijen dates from 1848. In 1908 the wooden drawbridge over it was replaced by the current bridge, a bridge constructed in traditional traditional style, composed of cast and iron parts. The bridge, locally known as 'the old lady', has been listed as a national monument since 2001. The characteristic building in the foreground was built in 1880. The photo was taken on a cloudy day at the end of the winter season.

The main ridge of Mala Fatra mountains (from Velky Krivan, seen here, to Maly Krivan, behind my back) in Slovakia goes almost latitudinally, so sometimes clouds are dense on the north side, but barely present on the south side.

Dunorlan is a 78 acre park in Tunbridge Wells in Kent. It was once the "back garden" of Dunorlan Mansion. The mansion is no more and the land opened to the public sometime in the 1940's. Oddly, I only live 10 mins from Dunorlan but today ( Dec 2015 ) is the first time I've been here for twenty years.
A strange game of nature. Throughout the day, nature seems to take various forms. One in the morning, one in the afternoon. The night scene is completely different. In the midst of this play of nature, the sky changes its own evergreen form of mine. People who do not love to see the sky can not be found. For nature lovers, Akash seems to always get a fair evaluation.
