Taipei 101 has been my major theme of shooting since I brought my DSLR. The reason is because it is our local landmark and I can shoot it from many angles during each season. This shooting spot is one of the best during winter.

I lucked out for this challenge. Normally, we don't see clouds this time of year because it doesn't rain from May though October. But we had one cloudy day this week. Taken from my back deck with my phone. My phone actually did a better job for this one than my camera.
For Crazy Tuesday theme "Clouds"
I am reaching the upper slopes of Glas Tulaichean now, and am just below the low base which hangs around me, and shrouds the summits other mountains across the distant Glens.
Glas Tulaichean is my 5th Munro of the season and the 28th in total, bringing me to a Munro completion rate of near enough 10%. The mountain stands at 1051 meters (3448 feet) and is the last one I will do as I have now moved away from Scotland and back to my roots in South Yorkshire as the pull of the Grandchildren was just too strong.
The ranks of cowls on CN has dwindled to 81 from a fleet of 200+ less than a decade ago. Getting two (or more) in the same paint on the same train is getting pretty hard considering the remaining C40-8Ms only comprise three percent of CN's fleet.
Glad it was cloudy today, as high-sun would have killed this shot.
A setting looking to the east while taking in views of Yosemite Valley. My thinking in composing this image was to capture a layered look, or more appropriately one of a look beyond. Nearby would be the forest of trees at the edge of a grassy meadow I was standing in. Beyond would be peaks and ridges of the Cathedral Rocks. Because of the haze and smoke present in the skies above from nearby wildfires, I decided to close in on the focal length to ensure that I minimized those skies while focusing on the trees and mountains.
Il posto è sempre lo stesso, cambia l'ora e la luce, il mare fa da specchio al cielo.
La foto è un montaggio di due ma i gabbiani sono autentici.

I didn't have much drive to get out and shoot today. It was cold and overcast this morning and then windy this afternoon. No inspiration to get out at all.
I have a couple of places i want to shoot but, i am waiting for the right sky.
Also, one of my images is in a contest, Vanishing Point Contest
