.....so calm and tranquil in the mountains on this morning, Lake Lyndon was stunning as clouds drifted by. Later in the day as we headed home there was not a reflection in sight just tiny ripples as a light breeze got up.

November sunsets are generally crisp in New England and quite harsh on the lens, but I saw the faint cloud iridescence on both sides of the sun in the thin clouds on the horizon and needed to take this shot.
Incidentally, the white lines near the sun are contrails.
One of the gorgeous sunset we have had here in poole. After a few days of rain and dull weather. 3 shot capture to make up this panoramic view.
