The setup for my Santa Fe picture. Minus the Santa Fe unit, of course. I was testing the waters.

- if I were a cloudologist I probably could have predicted by these different structures that there's gonna be a lot of rain today.

I'm not usually one to post just cloudscapes, but had to post this one, as I feel it was too good to let go by. It unfolded before I could get to anywhere with a great foreground, so stopped and took it anyway.

 

This is a crop of a landscape-orientation, single shot.

 

It was taken in October, 2010, whilst I was in Queensland photographing my nieces wedding a few days later. This is the view from atop the Great Dividing Range as taken from Prince Henry Drive in Toowoomba.

 

Hoping to see some more great skies when I go up again in the second week of December.
