Views of the cloudscape as seen from my back garden shortly before sunset tonight

25 June 2014

View towards Little Wakering Church

I shot this from a plane this a few months ago, but just found it.

Taken with my old iPhone 4.

I took this scenery inside the airplane cabin. it was organised amazing clouds gathering. maybe it's rarely appeared like this scenery. the date image taken was Sep 2th 2015.

I went to Portencross yesterday hoping for some stormy weather - thankfully it didn't quite materialise as much as it did at home when I was leaving. Cameras and the sort of rain that was coming down do NOT mix well.

This was taken just after I arrived, looking out to the north end of Arran where there was a little gap in the clouds.

The view from the Applecross peninsula, looking over Raasey, towards the mountains of the Isle of Skye.

Cloudscape over South Somerset. Heavy rain in the distant and a hint of a rainbow over to the right.

Looks Best On Black Background

I'm not usually one to post just cloudscapes, but had to post this one, as I feel it was too good to let go by. It unfolded before I could get to anywhere with a great foreground, so stopped and took it anyway.

This is a crop of a landscape-orientation, single shot.

It was taken in October, 2010, whilst I was in Queensland photographing my nieces wedding a few days later. This is the view from atop the Great Dividing Range as taken from Prince Henry Drive in Toowoomba.

Hoping to see some more great skies when I go up again in the second week of December.

The subject definitely isn't new, but the cloudscape is. ;)

Nice cloud formation over Bracknell the other day.

A peaceful morning in the village of St Marys, Orkney. I couldn't resist stopping to take a snap of it.

In a field last week, with birds wheeling all around - the mowing tractor had disturbed them...

Been on tour again with Oliver1978 - and we were lucky to have nice light and dramatic clouds.

At Freddie's Beach Bar.

这片子没有过分地修,只是增加点对比度而已。当时正是夕阳西下的黄昏时分,无意抬头望了望天空,看到这片奇特的云,很是惊喜!随即拍下。
