Took a break from the super early starts today. I love watching and photographing the sun come up, I love the peace, the stillness and the quiet, and yesterday was clearly a bit special. However, I have to leave when it's still fairly dark and before I know if there'll be anything to shoot at all otherwise when I get here it'll be too late (I know this through painful experience). If the sun doesn't show it'll probably stay too murky in the time I have available to get any decent wildlife shots later in my walk which is a pain and I'll feel like I need a nap most of the rest of the day which is also rubbish.

Was still up at 5.30, because of course I was, I just turned over and tried to get back to sleep :)
