I don't know what kind of cloud formation these are technically, but I call it swirling cloud. It was reflecting the sunset light at the time, made the sky so pink.

We have many days of beautiful sky in Autumn and Winter here in Kansas.

what do you do when you are stuck inside with a wonderful sunset outside? Photograph the clouds from the window... what a difference a storm makes...

The waves were fantastic on this day and I took hundreds of shots making it difficult to choose which I like best. I am fond of the washing machine foreground of this one. Comments welcome.

Mountains in Banff National Park. They have a lot of these there.

Virga has arrived which is an unusual event so close to the shore line in Hove.

Normally you see this way out to see, or more commonly on top of a hill.

So I was quite please to get this image, gust front followed shortly after the image was taken and filming stopped.

I got one more image of some people baptizing in the water which looks surreal

Taking time to be at the beach for relaxation is fascinating with skies and waters make its wonderful display.

Eventually, along with other clouds they made their way inland which brought a few rain showers to the afternoon!
