Out for a hike on the 22nd in the Superstitions. The sunset was a flop, but these clouds were about 30min. before the sun went down. Not much on the composition here as this light only lasted a few minutes.

It had spread to feel good clouds this morning

Cloud picture taken during a recent storm. The same storm that I actually saw a ligtning bolt come down and take out a huge tree about a 1/2 mile from my house!

জাফলংয়ে খাসিয়া পুঞ্জির একটু আগে তোলা এই ছবিটা তে দুরে যে বৃষ্টি হচ্ছে সেটাও বোঝা যাচ্ছিল। আমার কাছে মেঘের ফরমেশন টা এত সুন্দর লেগেছে যে আমি না তুলে পারি নাই। আর বালির মাঝে লোকটা ্থাকায় পুরোই ষোলআনা :)

This was shot at one of the turnouts along Big Sur while I waited to rendezvous with some friends.

I had just been complaining that the sky was all gray, there would be no sunset and nothing worth shooting when the sun broke through.

California is a beautiful and fickle place.

Sunset at Chatfield Lake, Littleton, Colorado. Temperature at Sunset was 46°F. The low overnight temperature was expected to drop to 28°F. The weatherman says, "Don't plant flowers until after Mother's Day".

Cloud Monster

Clouds are always interesting to watch, their shape the way they move & the colours at dawn or dusk.This cloud structure in particular was a small storm cell developing into the shape of a creature with its mouth wide open about to take a bite & swallow another smaller cloud to build its strength before it rained havoc on the suburbs below.
