"I'm feeling pretty good right now, but I hope we can just win the whole thing and I can run off into the sunset and say good-bye..."
Compositionally Challenged March Bonus -- Weather
365 day 80
This is a view from our front yard toward the southeast showing just what today's weather has been - a mixture of sunshine and showers.
This infrared picture was taken at the lake in the Watercress Beds close to where I live. My first opportunity with infrared in the UK this year.

Do you love spending the day, not going some place, but going any place?
Not the best of my night photos but I like it... Because it looks like a night you know ;) Everything is dark and only the Moon is shining bright.
Almost all photos from this series went blurred. I was too lazy to unpack my big tripod and used small flexible tripod instead. First I thought this shot was blurred but until I spotted that small white dot in the middle. Using the Stellarium it was easy to figure out this is Jupiter visible below the Moon. There also is another planet here — Uranus. Unfortunately it is impossible to spot it because of too bright light. By the way, Uranus, when discovered by William Herschel, in 1781, was the first planet discovered using telescope rather than being spotted by the naked eye.
Well the rain season in Egypt began. There was a rain shower for 30 minutes. Then the clouds were getting thick again.. The sky was beautiful and created a good environment with the wet streets and surfaces and creating a very good smell :D
Anyway, Hope you like it :)

An Autumn Oldie.....One of my favourite hideaways where I sometimes fish for Bass or just sit and relax. Luckily, I had my old compact with me to snap these clouds and reflections. Really nice afternoon and "Warm"
May 20, 2011. (168/365) I took this on my commute home. Hey, this is PA. We don't get cool clouds like this very often!
These clouds kept building toward the east, dumping a lot of rain on Topeka, but nary a drop on Konza. Taken on May 21, 2011, but just now getting it up on Flickr. From the Bison Loop, looking back toward the Nature Trail.
"Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky."
~Rabindranath Tagore
I always seem to find myself chasing those beautiful big puffy white clouds. On this day I was not disappointed as the clouds were cooperating in the Sonoran Desert.
Taken on the way to work this morning, The sun was rising and the clouds where loosing their colour fast, I pulled over the car and hoped out. Positioning the sun behind a large tree and keeping the camera low, shooting up I managed to block out most of the bright, overexposing sun.

Lochan Na Achlaise, Scotland.
We stopped by the side of the road for this shot, and were then stuck in mud for 2 hours! Even after 5 guys tried to push our car out, we eventually called the roadside assistance to use a winch.
So, I hope you like this picture!
A sculpture (30m high) by Anthony Gormley in the river Thames at the Greenwich Peninsula, close by the O2. If you look very carefully, you see a human form inside it - that's based on Gormley's own body. 1.5 metre lengths of steel surrounding it in a cloud of tetrahedral units designed with the help of a computer-generated algorithm.
The Emirates cable car across the Thames in the background.
I asked several people who worked round about, what this was - and not one of them knew!!
Tenuous Link: see-through sculpture.
