White sheep, white sheep,
On a blue hill,
When the wind stops
You all stand still
When the wind blows
You walk away slow.
White sheep, white sheep,
Where do you go?

tonight's moon. clouds were moving so fast I had to use ISO1600 at max 1 second exposure just to get a halfway clear image.
Sunset from October 2006 in Helsinki, Finland. If you do not tell to anybody I can admit that I actually took this one thogh the window of my hotel room at Hilton Kalastajatorppa. Sun started to go down, coulds turned really nice I knew that I would not have time to get out and take proper shots... So I just ensured that I was as close as the window as possible and started shooting. though the hotel window. Could you tell by looking at the picure that there were some 15mm (3 layer window) extra glass between the object and my D200's sensor?
Original photo has been getting some levels adjustment and slight saturation enhancement on Photoshop but no major editing has been done. Yellow light effects are from real and done by mother nature.
May 20, 2011. (168/365) I took this on my commute home. Hey, this is PA. We don't get cool clouds like this very often!
"Let’s ask ourselves: are we open to the Holy Spirit? Do I pray to Him to enlighten me, to make me more sensitive to the things of God?
Today, try to identify the Spirit’s work in your life. Pray that you may be open to the word of God, to the Goodness in the world, and to the Beauty that we experience in creation and in our relationships." ~ wau.org
DSC_2190 Clouds rolling in NR ClS 1024
As the diffuse eruption cloud of Iceland's Eyjafjallajökull volcano continued its journey across the UK, a clear sky gave the sun another opportunity to illuminate the stratosphere in a glorious light show. Volcanic dust was found on cars in Sheffield and Yorkshire was treated to scenes like this magenta-hued sunset over Ilkley Moor. The BBC reported that the airlines lose about £130,000,000 a day as a result of such events. The UK government's scientific research body NERC flew a series of propeller-driven planes loaded with instruments to analyse the composition of the ash and monitor the situation. England's skies finally re-opened with a large flight backlog and disruption went on for some time after.

Today the weather in Skopje changed many times. It was raining, than in certain periods the sun was triumphing, than the rain came again…
While making the short brake away from my computer, I made few picks to document those changes.
Taken at Vista house our meetup point for the Exposure Northwest workshop. We spent the first half hour shooting the sunrise before moving on to Latourell Falls.
You can see the clouds getting thicker as you look East (the right side of the picture). Yes, these clouds were spread all over people's driveways as snow just a few days later...
Noctilucent clouds over western Iceland.
Noctilucent clouds, or night clouds, are composed of tiny ice crystals. They are higher than any other clouds in the Earth’s atmosphere, at altitude of around 76 – 85 km (47 – 53 miles). The clouds are too faint to be seen during the day and are only visible at twilight, when illuminated by sunlight from below the horizon, and are most often seen during the summer months at latitudes between 50° and 70°.
