Yet another evening hopeing for rain and got none. But we got another breath takeing sunset, shot from the empty lot across the street from my house on Las Vegas Blvd.

3 image HDR in paint shop pro, slightly cropped to avoid a tree at the bottom.
Unsharp mask applied, saturation and red increased to round out effect.
The warm winds of winter that come in off the mountains to the west, with the distinctive chinook arch cloudform... Then last night a little more winter arrived... The highs and lows of winter... *sigh*

Some knuckly mammatus hanging under a storm in Trinidad, Colorado. There were some beautiful cloudforms, but we ran out of light shortly after this shot.

We had a fantastic evening sky on July 28, 2010 over Dexter, Michigan, where I happened to be at the time. I took a walk around the neighborhood to get some shots of the dynamic cloudform.
