This photograph shows a close-up view of Costus speciosus. Its family name is Zingiberaceae and the common names are Cane reed, Spiral flag and White costus. It originates from Indo-Malaysia and Thailand. This picture was taken in the Singapore Botanic Gardens.

Just another close up that I took of the other half of the tank before I did any trimming. The more I look at it, I sort of feel bad for the fish because they don't have as much room to swim around as they used to because the plants have blown up so much in the past week. But they sure do look nice this way. I'll be sad to begin trimming them, but it will be fun to watch them grow right back again I'm sure.

This stunning giraffe was standing right in front of me and it was a perfect model. The giraffes are so majestic and they seem to have a lot of respect by all the other animals in the enclosure, (zebras, elephants, buffalo, ostrich and antelopes).
Close-up. This saucer stopped by the Coronado Islands, dropped its "tractor beam" & sucked-up thousands of gallons of the Pacific Ocean.

Close up of the jumper top - heh, i forgot, there are still chalk marks on it! whoops!
the one big mistake i made was the top piece of trim - i sewed it on before sewing the lining on. so the lining is actually a tad over the top of the trim (the inside lining is some duck fabric she got from her nana years ago! finally had something to use it one!
Those are also just decorative buttons (thank god - every time i try to sew "usable" buttons, i can't make 'em strong enough)
but that blue trim was PERFECT for the edging , i am So glad i found it.
