This isn’t a diet story piersey.com/why-lose-100-pounds/ It’s an honest look at why weight loss became about removing friction from daily life, protecting my body, and choosing long term self respect.
A mouthwatering, close-up shot of a gourmet salmon salad that is as vibrant as it is healthy. This visually rich dish features perfectly seared pieces of flaky, orange Atlantic salmon, resting atop a generous bed of fresh leafy greens and nutrient-dense forbidden (black) rice. Large slices of creamy green avocado are carefully nestled throughout the bowl, providing essential healthy fats.
The entire dish is complemented by generous dollops of a cool, creamy dressing—likely a fresh dill yogurt or tzatziki-style sauce—and garnished with fragrant sprigs of dill. A bright, plump lemon half sits on the rim, ready to be squeezed for a final, refreshing acidic punch. This salad is a fantastic example of modern, high-quality café cuisine, emphasizing fresh ingredients, texture, and brilliant color, making it an ideal choice for a satisfying and delightful meal.

sometimes you only want to celebrate. because you have something that is really worth waking up early and make yourself a treat, a well earned treat actually.
you start whipping up stuff, combining a few, simple ingredients that you love expecting to have a bomb of true deliciousness for breakfast.
you arrange everything carefully and nicely to shoot and fix your glorious moment for the days and months and years to come.
then you dig into that pile of thin, warm circles oozing hot blueberry sauce trying to get ready for a tasteful, sinfully decadent explosion of flavors.
and the only thing that you can think consists of one single word.
FAIL.
sad epilogue of my big celabrations dreams.

I haven't posted a Filofax picture in so long. I decided to start documenting my juicing concoctions in my Filo mostly because I forget what I put with what; especially if it turns out decent! ;-)
This particular concoction was carrots, beet, collard greens, watercress, English cucumber and wheatgrass. Delicious? No. It tastes like something at the bottom of a swamp; however, it is so healthy. I will continue to choke down my concoctions! :-) I'll start experimenting with some fruits to sweeten my veggies up a little bit. ;-)
