After Castro liberated Cuba from the controls of the US and the mob. No new cars from the big 3 American companies came into Cuba past the 60's. Lots of these vehicles are still on the road, some in great shape as above and some a lot worst. The Cuban mechanics have actually learned to put parts from other companies like Toyota or the Russian Lada into these classics. These old cars are everywhere.
