A PlayStation fan recently traded in his massive game collection, weighing over 100 pounds. The collection includes PS1, PS2, and PS3 titles. Among them are some old video game classics, cult hits, AAA blockbusters, and everything in between.
Retro Classics Auto Show, Stuttgart, Germany, 2010. Taken with my pont and shoot, I was too tired to carry the big camera and lens. If I had know what I was in for, I may have toughed it out.
These two fine British classics are seen here on display in the car park of the art-deco Midland Hotel, Morecambe, during Vintage by the Sea, on 01/09/2024.
Nearest the camera is CTT290, a lovely little Austin Seven Ruby. First registered in 04/1937, it is powered by a 747cc engine. Alongside, and appropriately registered POP255, is a Ford Popular. First registered in 01/1954, it is powered by a 1172cc engine.
This was my first time at this great event which has been running for 11 years, however this year's event(2025) will not be run due to pressure to raise the funds needed to match rising costs. The free and not-for-profit annual event, which was co-created by fashion designer Wayne Hemingway, who hails from Morecambe, in conjunction with Deco Publique has reportedly attracted more than 40,000 visitors to the Lancashire seaside resort each year, however the organisers hope this is not the end of the festival forever and that the right levels of resources and funding can be secured in the future. © Peter Steel 2024.
Photos from backstage at the Ann Arbor Dance Classics performance of the Nutcracker on Saturday December 9th at Milan High School (Milan, Michigan). These are mostly from the second act because I was on stage for the first act. The performances are at 2pm on Saturday and Sunday December 9th & 10th, 2023. The Nutcracker was Composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
