GWR Class 57/6 No.57604 Pendennis Castle descends Whiteball,with the 09:15 Reading Depot to Penzance T&RSMD empty stock working,on the 14th of April 2020.
Probably the LMS's most famous class, The Royal Scott Class. This is No 6115 'Scot's Guardsman' built in Glasgow in 1927 and rebuilt in 1947 being the first Royal Scott to carry smoke deflectors. It is preserved.

The only trouble with my little studio in sunny weather is that by mid-afternoon one or two people are in full rays and can't see to work. Also of course the shadows and light all change which is a nuiosance if that is part of the picture.
The gentleman with the umbrella had that problem!
But Arthur's major problem is an increasing tremor, which really depresses him. So that day we had a complete change of approach, and he no longer tries to do detailed line drawing, but rather make much broader interpretations using big markers etc.
He was extremely pleased with the outcome!

* Affectionate or aloof? If you're looking for an independent cat who prefers minimal to moderate petting and lap time, don't adopt a snuggle bunny. And vice versa. But keep in mind that all cats -- just like humans -- need some affection, even if they're not good at asking for it.
* Energetic or calm? Want a mellow couch-potato cat? Then you may be more suited to a grown cat than to a mischievous kitten who'll climb your curtains all day in constant pursuit of play! But if lively is what you're after, a young, sprightly cat might be just right for you.
* Outgoing or shy? While all cats will need time to adjust to a new home, some will be more resilient than others in coping with the commotion caused by children, roommates, loud music, frequent visitors, or other animals. If your household has any of the above, choose a fairly confident cat over an extremely timid one.

A fine study of a Hipper class German heavy cruiser. I think it is Prinz Eugen, but I am not certain, and would welcome any further info or identification of the ship.
Seen here stabled in sidings near Minehead Station, the Class 105 DMU belonging to the West Somerset Railway is seen here in January 1993 with car 51485 leading. Purchased on withdrawal from BR in 1983, the unit remained on the WSR until 1997 when purchased by the East Lancs Railway and given a full restoration which was completed in 2017. The Butlins holiday camp can be seen in the distance.
