Op 29 juni 2025 werd gevierd dat de VSM 50 jaar bestaat. Hiervoor werd de historische dienstregeling uit 1979 gereden met de VSM 636 en de net gereviseerde VSM 23 071.
De 23 071 reed een trein naar Eerbeek en staat hier net na het omlopen voor de trein op een zonnig station Eerbeek.
Having nipped over on the off chance the L&HR had kept the Ivatt out after the first weekend at the start of the 2024 season I was in for a pleasant surprise courtesy of one of the industrial tanks failing it's FTR that morning.....
