Probably wondering why I named this picture anger. Its takin some time for me to post this picture due to how mad I was but I digress. Here is NS 278 about to leave Poe in Petersburg, Virginia. Once this train passed me and my friend were stuck on the other side of the crossing. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, However, the side we were on was a dead end. We ended up sitting there four two and a half hours waiting for 278 to clear. Its funny now but back then i was PISSED lol.

NS 40N running by Yadkin with a tier 4 leader, had a very friendly crew up front, was also pretty crazy we had two grain trains on the Norfolk sub just in under 15 minutes. Sky is really cool to look at in the shot to, started poring rain only 10 minutes after this shot.

NV07 I believe sits up at Portlock rd. with NS #6110 leading long hood forward also with a NW caboose.

A CSX intermodal sits underneath 164 waiting to go into PIT. Had #885 at the lead with a new DPU sticker. First time catching a CSX train on the Portsmouth, pretty cool.

NS 825 is prepping for his trip west in Lamberts Point coal pier. Today we have the 1072 leading on the Norfolk sub bound for Auville, WV

I'm three for three now with this being my 3rd YN2 dash 8 under my belt, literally. Here we have CSX #950 and #7877 parked in Berkeley today.

BNSF R-CHI458 heads west at Highlands on the BNSF Chicago Sub. September 2021

Im back home now and already catching trains. Starting off with NS 820 rolling down Yadkin with a tier 4 leader and limping its way to lamberts points. Apparently because of PTC issues.

I've been working on building a spartan cab SD70 in G Scale (1:29). I'm working on an NS loco that is a former CR of the same road number. I have some details to work on yet like the AC on the roof but I wanted to make a test run to see how things look.

NS 812 approaches bridge 5 to lamberts point with a C6M leader on point at 7:30

Union Pacific leader on an NS stack train, coming up the Lurgan Branch.

We look down upon a tied town G755 off of Oregon Hill Pkwy in Richmond, Virginia. Two pretty nice units on the headend with the L&N Heritage unit leads a last standing un rebuilt Flared Mac numbered 4810. Not my best work at all but i worked with what i had with the sun shining in my eyes.

NV03 begins to approach canal drive when someone begins to walk down the tracks. The conductor looked like he was trying to ignore him to the best of his albites.

NS NV01 waits for her conductor to arrive and in the mean time waits ideal at the old Ford plant spot with familiar 3216 leading

NS Painted this hopper car several years ago to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Pier 6. Lamberts Point is the home of Norfolk Southern's Pier 6, the largest and fastest trans-loading facility for coal in the Northern Hemisphere. The facility's annual throughput capacity is rated at 48 million tons. Unlike most facilities of its kind, Lamberts Point assembles all cargo in railcars and loads direct to vessel, rather than utilizing ground storage. The system is remarkably versatile due to its ability to blend individual lots up to five ways (a five-track blend) yet in increments as small as 100 tons. The 1850' pier facility can accommodate approximately 6,200 loaded railcars, and at full capacity, its dual twin rotary dumpers (capable of dumping up to four cars simultaneously) can dump 1,200 cars per day.

NPBL powers sits at the yard office with no 5260 today. but 5261 and NS 5113 were here on display ready for work when needed.
