My trip around the US ended about two days ago now and I’m still gonna be working on all the pictures to post from send trip. This was the final train of the over all trip which was CN A407 with IC 1016 leading the way up North through Tennessee.
A nice treat added to the consist of CP 470-03 was BNSF 7695 otherwise known as "The Golden Swoosh". Here's a roster shot. September 2020
NS 23G powers sit in Portlock yard, had a ACU on it. had to get Permission to come back here to see.

after almost 20 years of service, most of NS Dash 9 have been but in storage in Roanoke for rebuilding into C6M. It is a very sad sight but I guess you could say there's some relief that there not meeting the cutters torch.
We always say Hi to Roy when we pass on the Blenkinsop Trestle. Sunday we stopped for this photo op since he was dressed up for Christmas.
