Du 1er au 6 novembre 2018 l'Atelier Tsuyoshi Tane Architects installe un Furoshiki géant sur le parvis de l'Hôtel de Ville à Paris. Cette oeuvre éphémère, ouverte au public présente plusieurs interpretations de Furoshikis par des artistes contemporains et des créateurs de mode. L'installation est présentée dans le cadre du Tandem Paris-Tokyo et Japonismes 2018.

Built in 1902-1906, this Beaux Arts-style structure was designed by Fred Noonan, and was constructed on the site of Fort Hamilton, a frontier fort established in 1791, which later gave its name to the city of Hamilton. The building features a limestone-clad exterior, an open lantern atop the roof with a dome, doric columns, and a statue, arched and rectangular stained glass windows, engaged doric columns, a simple cornice, and rusticated piers at the east end of the site, adjacent to the Great Miami River. The building is a contributing structure in the Hamilton Historic Civic Center Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

The cladogram is based on a partial sequence of the cox1 mitochondrial locus. The codes after the species names refer to specific collection points. The brackets indicate the geographic origin of the clade. ZIM, Zimbabwe; MOZ, Mozambique, TAN; Tanzania. The support values over each node are the confidence probability obtained by the Minimum Evolution algorithm. The support values under each node corresponds to the Neighbor Joining algorithm. The left values corresponds to interior-branch test [40] and the right values to 3000 bootstratps. All trees used maximum composite likelihood (MCL) Computations were performed using MEGA 4.0 [38].
